So excited to share Greenish.Careers with the PH community! 🥳 I created Greenish.careers out of my personal frustration when I was searching for a job in the green economy, with a particular focus on Germany. I was disheartened by the lack of a comprehensive job board dedicated to environmentally-conscious careers. Greenish.careers is my solution to this problem, a platform where individuals like me can easily find meaningful job opportunities that align with our values and contribute to a sustainable future. Some more facts: - 🕷️ Crawling job postings from companies careers sites to have up-to-date data - 📚 Sourcing / parsing around 3.000 jobs daily (more to come) - 💌 Create job alerts via emails I'd appreciate your thoughts, comments, and feedback as I'm eager to improve. I used Laravel (with tailwindcss + alpine.js) to build everything, as it provides a robust framework that allows for both functionality and aesthetics. As for my plans for the growth of this board, I'm currently focused on attracting more traffic and reaching out to potential job seekers. I believe in the power of community, and I'm dedicated to creating a valuable platform where job seekers can connect with opportunities effectively. In the future, I plan to expand and collaborate with companies. This will involve building relationships with organizations that are looking to hire, and creating tailored features and services to meet their specific needs. Hi @pronnenberg Looks like you put a lot of work into the making of this. The landing page is nice and it feels modern. How did you know that there is a market for environmentally-conscious "job searchers"? Moreover, what are you using to crawl so many job postings?

@jim_engine Thanks for checking out greenish.careers! Market: I started this project because I couldn't find a job board for environmentally-conscious individuals that was modern, mobile-friendly, and had the right job listings (some focus i.e. on NGO's only). After conducting keyword research and observing high demand for green sector jobs (competitors do get a good amount of traffic) on Google, I felt there was a market for it. Crawling: I am using a custom web scraping toolkit in PHP to collect job listings. However, I handpick companies to ensure job listings align with my mission and values.
