We use face-related data only for the 'You look like' feature and for our AI-powered photo editing tools. We do not store or share this data or your images.

Don’t want to play devils advocate here but this app doesn’t have any information on where the app is from. The terms and conditions says it allows third party access, all of the developers on product hunt have there Twitter accounts either brand new, suspended or there tweets won’t load.
What are the images used for? Other than the app itself. Is this a method to build a dataset of faces for you to sell on?

The images are not used now and will not be used for any purposes like that. They are processed locally on the device and just for the app's features to work properly.

This section covers our app statistics services that we use to fix bugs and crashes or analyze which features are used most, for example.

It's great that photos are processed locally on user devices and never leave the app as mentioned below. To clarify how does the app then fetch the look-a-like photo? Is a database of celebrity images and associated landmarks also stored on the device?
