@chrismessina Both will be winners, and the reason is pretty simple, Apple always goes after different competencies compared to Google, based on this statement I believe we will have a great AI ecosystem with differences between GPT and Google.
As the geminis were twins I’d think that the former Gemini (Castor) might take great offense that Pollux is more advanced :)
It's puzzling that Gemini still struggles with maintaining context and tracking previous discussions within a thread. Despite GPT's ability to navigate through a limited history of conversation, Gemini falls short in recalling details from just a couple of sentences back. This capability is crucial, and without it, it's unlikely that rebranding it as Gemini will significantly boost user adoption. For Gemini to lead in its field, it must match and surpass GPT's functionalities. Moreover, the removal of the feature that allowed it to read emails is disappointing, as it was genuinely useful. On a positive note, its image generation capabilities are impressive, especially in replicating complex details in images.
