Super excited for this as a consumer, but we're also eager to introduce a Product Hunt Agent, just announced at Google's event. Here's a screenshot of the launch partners: Question: what use cases/commands would you like to see from us? 🤔

@rrhoover It would actually be useful to have a curated list of new abilities for Assistant itself. Coolest/trending integrations etc.

@rrhoover I would love to be able to check the top products from Product Hunt in the categories I follow every morning from within Google Assistant!

This isn't getting the same amount of attention as the Pixel phones or the VR headset, but honestly I think this is the largest announcement from Google during their event. Google Now was great but it always lacked the personality I wanted out of it, the search never really reflected in the cards I got to see every morning, and for the past few weeks I haven't even touched Google Now. I think Google Assistant is going to be truly amazing to use, especially when you get nested into the Google ecosystem with Google Home, Allo, and a Pixel phone.

Definitely, this will be a serious player in virtual personal assistants market. This move added to Pixel release could bring Google to the game where he tried to enter with Google Now. Let's see how everything will be at the end, but this idea looks really nice.

How will this be different / better / special than Siri? Do I use it together with Siri (for voice to text, giving commands on my iPhone etc.) or is it meant to replace Siri all together?
