Excited to introduce GeoClick – a GPS camera app that makes capturing and tagging moments by location super easy! Whether you’re a traveler, photographer, or just love documenting memories, GeoClick embeds precise GPS coordinates into each photo, helping you remember where each shot was taken. Perfect for organizing and sharing memories! Developer: @rohitrajkhorwal Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and any features you'd like to see next. Let’s make GeoClick even better together!

does this only work with images taken within the app? Also my first thought is security concerns with a product like this, are you sending GPS data to the server? Congrats on the launch, it does seem useful 👍
Rossyn
@jonnymiles Thank you for raising these important questions! 🙌 To clarify, our app is designed with full privacy in mind. It works directly on your device, and any location data stays strictly on your phone—it’s never sent to any server. We've been thoroughly reviewed and verified by Google, ensuring that our team adheres to all privacy and security standards. So, there’s no need to worry about your location data. 😊 Thanks again for your interest, and we hope you find it useful!

I’m offering the GPS Map Camera App source code in Kotlin! This well-structured codebase enables users to capture photos with geolocation tags and custom map features, making it perfect for travel, site reporting, and more. It's pretty, and it could be super useful. Back in the time, I made an Android app, Petit Poucet https://dystroy.org/petitpoucet/ (now retired, not a concurrent), with similar concerns, and some use case ideas that you could apply to GeoClick, like finding your path back in a mountain trip, or your car in a foreign town or huge parking.

I love it's idea. Thanks for generating this cool tool!

@dina_mostafa Thank you so much! 😊 I’m really glad you’re enjoying it. It’s always exciting to create something that’s genuinely helpful. Let me know if you have any feedback or ideas—always happy to make it even better! 🚀📸

This would've been so handy during my backpacking trip last summer! 📸 Always find myself scrolling through photos later wondering "where was that cool little cafe again?" or "which beach was this?" Would be awesome if you could add a feature to create custom location-based albums or maybe even plot a photo journey on a map. Downloading this for my next trip! 🌎
Rossyn
@_ivan1 Thank you so much for the awesome feedback! 🙌 I'm glad you see the potential in it for travel memories and pinpointing those special spots! Custom location-based albums and a photo journey map sound like brilliant features—definitely taking note! 😊 I hope it adds a new dimension to your next adventure.

Congratulations on the launch! I love the idea of capturing memories with location context. How does GeoClick handle privacy concerns when sharing photos with GPS data?
Rossyn
@ihuzaifashoukat Thank you for the support! 😊 Privacy is a top priority for GeoClick. When it comes to sharing photos with GPS data, GeoClick gives you complete control. GPS tags stay on your device and are only included in shared photos if you choose to keep them. We never send location data to any external server, and all data handling complies with Google’s strict privacy standards. So you can capture memories with peace of mind! 📍✨

Good idea! So many useful features can be developed on top of it
Rossyn
@oleg_bakatanov Thanks for the encouragement! 😊 I completely agree—there’s a lot of exciting potential for new features, and I’m already brainstorming ways to make GeoClick even more versatile. If you have any specific ideas in mind, I’d love to hear them! 🚀📸

@banrossyn, thanks for your reply! For example, try to experiment with AI to put some short catchy notes on photo. E.g, I experimented this way and found that Chat GPT can generate some curious and even funny facts about a place where you snap photo. Doesn't work 100% but sometimes is pretty cool
