I have been actively using ChatGPT to get some statistics data for my target segment (help me determine TAM, SAM, SOM, etc.) What purpose you have been using it lately?
I've used it primarily to generate for blogposts (ideas, titles, outline), but we are going beyond that basic use of Generative AI at Adaptiv and are building a full-stack AI-assisted career intelligence platform that offers mentoring, as well as automated creation of lesson plans on emerging career paths and skills. Our first launch was of the micro-learning platform. The career mentoring launch is scheduled for early next week.
Double checking to see how my students can possibly use ChatGPT to get around their assignments, as well as improve them. I've found so far that while GPT3 is good at summarizing contents, it doesn't synthesize or compare well yet. So I'm using higher order thinking more often in my prompts.
@tophr How great to hear that a teacher, instead of forbidding students from using it is trying to figure out how to best use this technology for the benefit of their students. Respect!
@pierre_landoin So, I basically try to gather the statistics data specifically for my product such as total users in the country, total users with "x", "y", "z" condition in specific region and likewise - coming up with the rough estimates. The good part is it helps me gather and understand some of the data well; the bad part is the data is not up-to-date i.e. the app (and the model) I am using is being trained for data till 2021.
My team and I are building a product that fine-tunes this model to a new generative AI that writes selling copies. We've found out that Chat is amazing at writing general-purpose texts but sucks at individual pitches.
On a side note, I have been using Chat as almost a Google search substitute. I wonder if Google will do something about it, 'cause the competition is real, in my point of view.
