I met my Co-Founder there after meeting hundreds of entrepreneurs around the world with different backgrounds, skill-sets, experiences, etc. It is an incredibly well-built platform and I could not vouch for it more!
Happy to answer any questions about the platform if you're interested.
So I had the fortunate experience of meeting my co-founder over on LinkedIn back in Feburary, just due to us living in the same state and I wanted to connect with her since she was pursuing a tech degree like I was.
It's even crazier because we connected before my product idea came to mind. After I brought the idea to her, she showed me nothing but green flags (pitched her own ideas, started planning out how it would work instantly, etc.), so I jumped to work with her and the rest is history.
Long story short, I'm not sure if you're in college or know anyone that you've went to school with that could fit the bill, but you could always go the route of networking events IRL or through social media (X has a great startup founders community I've heard). Best of luck to you!
Not found yet but many people who wanted to collab always contacted me via LinkedIn. And I double-check whether it is such collaboration convenient in Reddit discussions :D
@yakov_keselman ATM, I do not look for it because I think that not many of my ideas are worth it :D And not many people attracted me with their ideas. 😅
In college, 8 years ago, countless memories, getting drunk and doing stupid things to gradually becoming responsible young men ( I think, haha), every relationship has it's ups and downs but I love my co founder, not because he perfectly complements me but also because he's my best friend. :)
It is not easy to meet the right co-founder. Just being realistic for you. I got lucky that I've known mine for years because we went to college together and we're basically brothers at this point. He has strengths where I lack some of his technical ability and vice versa. But from studying this subject it is not easy meeting one online.
I would try searching for either portfolios or some kind of work history that tells you about their work ethic, strengths and so on. May I ask why is it that you think you need a co-founder?
@stargear356 I'd say not necessarily a cofounder but someone who'd provide unbiased feedback and complement my skills: I focus mostly on "how to build" and a little on "what to build", so I'd be complemented by someone who focuses largely on "what to build" and "how to sell" :)
@yakov_keselman I understand what you mean completely. I'm more of the what to build and my partner is more how to build. I have good technical ability but he is more of an expert. Have you considered going to startup events? Expos? I think trying to meet people in a phyical environment might be more productive than online.

@jordansvision great to hear all that, I will try a few options then. Thanks!

@busmark_w_nika does not look like you're actively looking for a co-founder though... Happy to give some feedback on your ideas/projects.

@busmark_w_nika Got it, thanks! Though I don't necessarily agree with your sentiments :)
@yakov_keselman It can be true, my POV is subjective but at the moment, I feel it that way.

We kept bumping into each other in Product Hunt comment. Eventually decided to build something together.
