When you meet someone worth knowing — what’s your move?

Networking is basically part of the job — whether it’s an investor coffee, a random meetup chat, or bumping into someone at a coworking space.

I used to carry stacks of printed business cards until I realized they were usually forgotten at home.

Now I just have it in my Apple wallet in a digital format (I chose wisery.io)

It made me wonder:

What’s your go-to move when you meet someone worth staying in touch with?

a) Printed business cards

b) Digital business card / single link

c) Just exchange emails or numbers

d) Connect on LinkedIn

Networking is really cool, and you are asking the right question. I prefer to exchange LinkedIns to communicate later. As a rule, if you have something in common with this person, it is easier to get a good contact)

@ixord totally agree - if there’s common ground, the follow-up is so much more natural.

I’ve noticed LinkedIn works great, but sometimes I like to have a quick way to share my info without searching names (especially in noisy events)

@stefaniya_sparysheva You can also ask for Telegram or something like that, it may just be that the interlocutor does not have this social network. And LinkedIn remains one of the official working social networks

Recently, I usually just swap socials (Linkedin, Twitter or otherwise), it's super underrated for keeping up with someone professionally but staying in touch with their work and progress too.

Makes it way easier to actually start conversations later instead of letting the connection fade.
