I'd say the greatest obstacle to people's dreams is the fear of failure, which often leads to self-doubt and hesitation, hindering us from taking bold steps towards our goals, so let's remember that every setback is a set-up for a comeback and keep chasing our dreams with resilience

@roberta1980s was thinking the same thing. I think the best way to overcome fear of failure is by actively exposing yourself to failure. the key is to make sure you learn something from the experience and use that newfound knowledge to try again and improve.
laziness, anxiety, the fear of the unknown, the fear of taking the first step.
Believe when growth is guaranteed you should settle down.
Believe fault is someone else's.
Believe only the goals themselves are what matter.
Negative feedback with no encouragement. Yes, not everything is going to be a good idea and yes, people deserve to know the harsh truth. But there is a difference between doing that and making them feel worthless.
Self-doubt and fear of failure are the biggest dream-killers, undermining people's confidence and preventing them from taking risks or pursuing their passions.

I think the inability to get out of the head and take action. Taking action and failing is a hundred times better than never having tried.
Great question. I'll say it's the deep-rooted culture from the old culture in certain countries that we should stick on our track - study well, find a good job, have kids, and retire.
We should break the status quo and rethink why we should believe blindly in those cultures. After all, we're no different than human beings in pre-civilisation ages. We all come on earth to be happy, and chasing after our dreams is the best way to access a long-term happiness, at least to many of us.
