What tools do you use for setting up social media promo campaigns?
I've been in social media marketing for nearly five years, but with AI advancing, I suspect my role in ad setup may soon become unnecessary. š
I used to set up promo campaigns manually using native platform tools (which already applied some AI, like automated texts or ad placement, viz. Facebook Business Manager).
But lately, Iāve noticed 3rd-party tools may outgrow native social media platforms soon because:
ā¢ Marketers can set up everything in one place
ā¢ AI automation has become more sophisticated than native tools (AI can generate audiences, texts, visual creatives, customise budgeting)
ā¢ Dashboards of the 3rd-party tools are more UX/UI friendly and probably have more reliable tech/customer support than Meta, right? š
ā¢ Some tools even enable us to find influencers participating in a promo campaign or AI-generate the whole campaign based on the landing page link (e.g. Aha ā I tried this one because they have performance-based model.)
Do you use ānative tools made by social media platformsā or 3rd-party tools (like Aha, HubSpot, HotSuite, Zoho etc.)? ā name them
If you use the 3rd party tools, what results did it bring to you/outcomes?
Feel free to share what makes that service outstanding, e.g. your favourite feature.

Love this thread.. weāre hearing something similar from teams where promo workflows still rely on a lot of internal back-and-forth.
Not just scheduling posts..but things like follow-up threads, approvals, tracking replies across email + Slack, etc.
Weāve been working on an AI Executive Assistant thatās more about automating internal communication workflows, especially around email.
Curious if youāve tried automating beyond campaign setup ā like the comms around it?
Great post! Totally agree that third-party tools are outpacing native platforms. Iāve been using HubSpot and it saves me tons of time with campaign setup and analytics. Whatās your go-to tool for automation, Nika?

@onbing I tried above mentioned Aha and liked the quite easy set-up + it was done pretty quickly. I expect some customisation in the future as well.
Have some experience with Apollo when it comes to emails but Mailchimp has also good solutions (the project I am a part of uses Mailchimp) ā yesterday, we had a call about setting up some automated campaigns.
That's right, AI is growing fast and threatening social media marketing.
And what are your favorite tools for content planning and design? Our team often spends a lot of time looking for resources for design.
