What’s the most important thing when recruiting alpha testers?

We’re building a content assistant tool for people who post on LinkedIn five or more times a week.

But honestly, finding testers has been harder than expected.

LinkedIn DMs rarely get replies.

Influencer marketing is way too expensive.

And because it’s an editor-style product, paid ads don’t spread well.

Maybe I’m just making excuses.

But if any of you have been down this road before, I’d really appreciate any advice you can share on how to bring in alpha testers without burning through all our time and budget.

Even one small tip would go a long way.
