What do you do after launching and landing in the Top 3 on Product Hunt?
I can safely say that just being featured on Product Hunt is already a small miracle in itself.
(It wasn’t always like that, but lately the competition has been wild, and every single launch feels like a battle.)...
Anyway...
First win: get featured.
Second: make it into the Top 10.
Third: land in the Top 3.
Ultra big win: Product of the day.
So what now?
What happens when the 24 hours are over?
I usually suggest you to do these 3 things:
– Reach out to podcasts, newsletters, and interviews (momentum opens doors)
– Add the badge to your site (small thing, big trust signal)
– Let investors know you made it. You have approval by users about your product.

I have seen many team members to send DMs when they thanked people, I found it quite kind :)
@busmark_w_nika Oh, yes! Great addition, Nika! That’s absolutely essential.
But I’d count it more as part of the launch strategy. No matter if you’re first or 50th for the day you always thank the people who supported you.
What I hate most on Twitter is getting 10 messages asking for support. And not a single one after they’ve launched.
What I meant more was the things you do after your launch goes well and you land in the top 3.
@byalexai That's also true, it happens to me that 8 people from the same team send me the same message. They should have some system, sheets or something where they mark who they already contacted :D
