Looking forward to it. Being early on in this journey AND not being a pure product person myself, this is very timely! 🙏 A big question that I have and have heard competing POVs on - How polished does the MVP need to be? Of course, I'm thinking with my B2B hat on. The opinions that I'm hearing are 1. If you're building for the US - UI/UX is crucial. A good product with basic UI won't cut it 2. Rest of the world - Feature-first ,delight/UI/UX later. How true/untrue is this? And what are the nuances here?

cool event! product experience is a nuanced game, isn't it? do listen to your users, but don't let them dictate your vision. do iterate fast, yet don't forsake long-term strategy for short-term gains. do focus on onboarding, but don't neglect the 'aha moment' and retention. don't assume features equal value. sometimes, less is more. do measure KPIs, but don't lose sight of qualitative insights. stories matter. don't forget accessibility. an experience for all is an experience for the long haul. do encourage user-generated content, but don't let it dilute your brand voice. don't ignore micro-interactions. the devil and delight are in the details. do test and learn. but don't forget, not all data is good data. it's a balance, always. can't wait to hear insights from the Sprig team.

Here's my super checklist about the Don'ts: ✅ Avoid feature overload. ✅ Don't rely solely on internal feedback. ✅ Don't sacrifice usability for aesthetics. ✅ Prioritize performance optimization. ✅ Adhere to accessibility standards. ✅ Actively listen to user feedback. ✅ Continually monitor analytics post-launch. Hope you resonate with this Aaron!

DOES -> Start focusing on growth DON'T -> Spend money on things that aren't growth. You're good to go.

That sounds like an exciting event! An exciting question I'd like to get answered is: How to keep the traffic high on your product, after the initial launch?

What should the MVP include? One I'm most curious about

Feedback Integration: Collect and act on user feedback to enhance the product continuously. Consistent Branding: Maintain a cohesive and consistent brand experience across all touchpoints. Performance Optimization: Prioritize speed and performance for a seamless user experience. Don'ts: Ignoring User Feedback: Avoid dismissing or neglecting valuable user feedback. Overcomplicating Design: Keep the user interface simple and avoid unnecessary complexity. Inconsistent Messaging: Ensure that communication and messaging are clear and align with the brand. Ignoring Performance Issues: Address performance issues promptly to prevent user frustration. Neglecting Accessibility: Avoid overlooking accessibility features that ensure inclusivity for all users.

Maybe a short intro on what sprig is?
Thanks for setting this up Adam. Does Sprig work with Mobile apps? (Particularly Flutter)

I appreciate the focus on both the dos and don'ts of building a product experience. It's essential to understand not only what works but also what potential pitfalls to avoid along the way. By addressing common challenges, attendees can gain valuable insights and strategies to navigate their own product development journeys successfully.

- How can we integrate user feedback and data analytics into our product development process to continuously improve the product experience and ensure it aligns with evolving customer expectations?

He’s my check list on the do’s: ☑️ Use inertia transitions to create a premium and really nice to use feel. ☑️ Gain inspiration from world class products that have already researched what people love. E.g. look at the UX on an iPhone. ☑️ Simple Dashboard, especially on initial login. Nothing worse than overwhelming a new user. ☑️ Make it highly visual. Use icons and screenshots so hints and tips can be digested in seconds not minutes. ☑️ Create space around elements of the UI. It’s far easier to read and use when things are not crammed together. ☑️ Keep it as simple as possible. Few clicks as possible, few words as possible. But with making sure the user fully understands it. I hope this is useful @aaronoleary I’ll think of a great question as well 😂

Building a B2B SaaS where UX is a top priority due to our typical user’s profile, I’ll be interested in learning more about this!

Hi, this sounds like a great event! I'm looking forward to learning more about Sprig and how to create a better product experience. Some questions I have are: • How do you define and measure product experience? • What common mistakes or challenges do product teams face when trying to improve product experience? • How do you use Sprig to collect and analyze user feedback and behavior data? • How do you prioritize and implement product changes based on user feedback and data? • How do you communicate and collaborate with other stakeholders (such as developers, designers, marketers, etc.) on product experience initiatives? • How do you balance innovation and iteration when building and improving your product? I hope these questions are helpful. Thanks for organizing this event!🤗

1. What are the essential elements that make a product experience outstanding? 2. Can you share some examples of products with great product experience?
Dale Castro
Do focus on user needs, iterate based on feedback, and strive for simplicity; don't sacrifice usability for aesthetics or neglect the importance of accessibility in creating a product experience that delights and satisfies users.
Shaur ul Asar
In my opinion, building a successful product experience requires following certain dos and don'ts. It is important to understand the users' needs, prioritize simplicity, etc. On the other hand, it is crucial to avoid overcomplicating the user interface, neglecting user feedback, sacrificing performance for aesthetics, and overpromising while underdelivering.
