Should we consider utilizing a Press Release Distribution Platform before the launch?

We are soon launching Publer on Product Hunt! https://www.producthunt.com/upco... Thus, we're considering creating an effective Press Release and using a Distribution platform to help us spread the word. Have you used any such platforms in the past?
