New to PH: What's something you wish someone had told you before you built your launch page?

Hey everyone, I’m Andrei & first-time maker on Product Hunt.

I’ve been lurking for a while, learning from all the amazing launches, as I’m getting ready to set up my first one. But before I jump into crafting the launch page, I’d love to learn from those of you who’ve done this before:

  • What's something you wish someone had told you before you built your PH launch page?

Whether it’s something about the visuals, copy, maker comment, or even timing, all tips are welcome.

PS: I’m building a tool that helps founders think more clearly by acting like a strategy consultant in your browser. It's still in the works, but I'm happy to share more if anyone’s curious.

Hi! I recommend you to have contacts on LinkedIn of other users so that you have a community of people who are founders of products with whom you can become much better. I love to correspond with PH users on LinkedIn and I always learn something new because experience in all areas is not gained.
