Never Give Up: Lessons from Product Hunt Launches 🚀

Launching on Product Hunt is no small feat – it’s a thrilling combination of strategy, creativity, and resilience. As I was reviewing some examples of launches on the platform in March 2025, I couldn’t help but feel inspired by the determination of every team and individual who puts their product out there.

I deeply admire everyone who chooses to launch on Product Hunt – it’s not just about creating a great product, but also about having the courage to present it to the world. I respect those who make it to the top because I know firsthand the amount of work and preparation that goes into it. And I have even more admiration for those who don’t give up after setbacks.

Every launch day is unique. Sometimes, it all goes smoothly, but more often, it’s a fierce competition – a real race fueled by excitement, adrenaline, and relentless faith in success. Personally, I’m not sure what I enjoy more: the victories or the intense journey itself.

What about you? Do you enjoy this kind of challenge and competition? Let me know in the comments – I’d love to hear your thoughts!

It is great to launch on PH. 100%. It is the way to show your work to the world, and if possible, solve a problem for some people. However, I need to argue that one big problem here is the fact that the amount of work you put behind the launch, does not guarantee the featuring or being at the top products. I have launched products that reached the top of the day, and I have launched products that never got featured. Both times equal amount of work. I agree with the Never Give Up part. Never. In life. BUT...dont attach your product's worth (or even our self's worth at times) to externalities. Do the things you love daily, the launch is unique because it is unique. It is not unique because it made it or didnt make it on Product Hunt. Salut from a daily solopreneur.

@cryptosymposium The problem with good launches that are not featured is why we're building Product Hunt Gems, see also here. Maybe we'll at least have a forum for non-featured launches soon.

I believe “never give up” is a core value that Product Hunt also embraces. What we need to do is carefully prepare every part of the launch, and fully embrace the excitement and tension on launch day. Even if it doesn’t go as planned, that’s okay - Product Hunt gives us the chance to relaunch. What matters most is learning from the experience, gathering feedback, and continuously improving the product.
