Is there a Product Hunt Local User Group?

Or specifically - Is there a local Product Hunt user group anywhere near Baltimore area?

I keep wondering… we’ve got this amazing global Product Hunt community, but wouldn’t it be cool to connect locally too?

🎤 Imagine this:

* Casual monthly demos (think “Show & Tell” for founders)

* Feedback from fellow makers before you launch

* In-person coworking jams and product chats

* Mini launch parties when someone ships ✨

* Honest convos about what’s working, what’s not

I don’t know if this exists yet around here… but if you’re a founder, indie hacker, or product-minded person in the DMV (DC–MD–VA), would you be into this?

If you’re down for something like this, drop your city + vibe in the comments 👇

I’ll start: Baltimore – in for casual demos & funnel chats

Let’s see if we’ve got enough momentum to kick something off.

And if this already exists, please tag it!

Hello from Singapore, this is a good idea! Connecting in person is always better. Singapore - in for casual demos and sharing

Launching soon!
Great idea! I think PH should consider starting something like local meet ups that anyone in the community can start (maybe keep minimum points as a criteria)

Absolutely love this idea — and you’re not alone. A local Product Hunt-style group in the Baltimore or broader DMV area would be awesome.

There’s so much creative energy around here — between the tech scenes in DC, the design/dev talent in Baltimore, and all the indie hackers spread across Maryland and Virginia — it feels like the perfect spot for something grassroots and maker-driven.

Your vision of monthly demos, launch parties, real feedback loops, and honest product convos sounds 🔥 — like a low-pressure, high-vibes version of a mini Product Hunt Live.

I’m in.

Location: Baltimore

Vibe: Product convos, pre-launch feedback, early-stage funnel experiments, co-working meetups.

If this doesn’t exist yet, we can start by gathering a few folks for a casual meetup — maybe a coffee shop cowork jam or a “Show & Tell” night at a local coworking space. If it does exist, someone please tag it because we’re clearly hungry for it.

Let’s build some local momentum 🚀
