Introducing Product Hunt Gems - A new place for great products not featured on Product Hunt
An average of 150 - 200 products are launched here on Product Hunt every day. The Product Hunt team has the difficult task of deciding which of them to feature.
I think they’re doing a good job. However, when I look through the list of non-featured launches, I often find some high-quality, innovative and very useful products there also, which do not get much attention unfortunately. This is expected of course, as it is clearly impossible for the Product Hunt team to thoroughly assess 200 products a day.
I have therefore started a Reddit community to gather and discuss such “hidden gems” from Product Hunt, and newsletters to further publicize them, for the benefit of both the makers and possible users.
@busmark_w_nika , @priyanka27 and @julia_zakharova2 have joined the team, and together, we have already searched for gems since the beginning of this year and posted most of them on Reddit.
Newsletters for January and February are also available already for free. I think some of the products covered are so good they could easily have made it to a product of the day or even week if they had been featured.
Free weekly newsletters will be published starting next Sunday with the recent products gathered on Reddit. You can sign up on our news site to receive them per email. If you sign up for the paid membership, you’ll also get monthly newsletters that will include the gems of a month in a nicely edited way.
And if you are also sometimes looking through non-featured launches and are finding gems there: r/ProductHuntGems is the place for them!
