How important is scheduling posts in advance vs. posting in real time?

I keep hearing two very different perspectives on how to approach social media..

Scheduling ahead of time, which gives you consistency, frees up headspace, and makes planning campaigns smoother. Or, posting in real time which keeps things authentic, lets you react to trends, and lets you be more flexible. Where do you land? Do you batch and schedule a week or month in advance, or do you prefer the spontaneity of posting in the moment?

I’m asking because we’re building Tufa (tufa.io) which will be launching soon (stay tuned!). It's a tool that automates post generation, scheduling, and publishing.

But, I’d love to understand how people actually prefer to manage their content.

What’s your take....is scheduling essential, or does real-time keep it real?
