Hardware on product hunt...is it possible to succeed?
Hi everyone!
I'm a new maker (Co-Founder) of Intecular, a smart home tech company gearing up for our first Product Hunt launch on July 29. We've previously launched on Kickstarter, though I've had some mixed feedback about launching on Product Hunt. I'd love your input on a few areas that I could use some clarity:
Product Hunt seems to be somewhat on/off about hardware. For featured products, it seems like hardware is somewhat rare. Any thoughts on how we can succeed using this platform?
We waited to consider launching on Product Hunt until the product was fully available, after fulfilling all prior Kickstarter backer orders. I'm wondering if that will impact our ability to be featured at all on Product Hunt.
This is our first launch on Product Hunt. Any feedback and thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I read somewhere in the guidelines that the hardware should be somehow "linked" to software, but rather, double-check with the team. :)
@busmark_w_nika Thank you! Our product is reliant on the connection to our app, InvisHome, as well as through connectivity protocols such as the Matter network. Perhaps the app and connectivity should be a greater area of focus for the launch!
@leonxue1 Wish you GL! :)
