Good subreddits for Makers, SaaS & Startup founders, Marketers and Entrepreneurs

More and more, my friends on Twitter are sharing their Reddit successes. They
either have decent "vanity metrics" but also brag about getting real
customers.

I have a few subReddits where you can create a discussion around your products
(I am sharing them below) but do not recommend doing "salesy" marketing. Just
take it like a space where you exchange experiences and ideas because
trustworthy and connections are done this way. Otherwise, you are banned :)

Solid list! A few underrated subs to consider:

  • r/SideProject: Perfect for early-stage concepts if you frame it as “Would this solve your pain point?” vs. sales pitches.

  • r/AlphaAndBetaUsers: Goldmine for feedback-seekers who genuinely want to iterate.

  • r/InternetIsBeautiful: For quirky/niche tools—sneak in your product only if it fits the “hidden gem” vibe.

  • r/SomebodyMakeThis: Low-key MVP validation. If your product aligns with a top-voted request, gently mention it.

@rohanrecommends You are welcome! :) It is one of those where I can go for a good piece of advice. Thank you for moderating the space! :)

Reddit’s been kinda tough for me to get into, so your post was a lifesaver. Really appreciate it! I’ll make sure to read your newsletter tonight.

@kay_arkain I hope it will help. There are many videos on this topic too :)
