Browser Extensions, dead or used and useful?
Hey folks! Given we're not in the era of vibe coded solutions and AI <something something>, I was wondering what the current sentiments are around browser extensions. Your interactions with the internet and web tend to be using either a browser or an app and we're all pretty fed up with the levels of intrusive behaviours affecting our every day life. With the rise of LLMs and interacting with everything via natural language, are we about to jump over browser extensions? Or, for purpose specific human activities, do they still have their place?
I'd love to know more about what those views are! Do you use Browser Extensions? Do you have any favourites? Do you trust them? What do you get out of them? Are they best served as an 'extension' of something larger? Or do you find them as independent products?

Tough to trust browser extensions in today's world!
But still they have an important place in terms of delivering value!
Also good as independent products (if delivering significant value), though most people still consider them extensions!

@manu_goel2 Hey Manu! Thanks for joining in. Appreciate it. I'm beginning to sense some kind of "we don't trust this" wall around browser extensions. There are so many stories around regarding broken or malicious extensions, even in official extension sites, which isn't good for the community. But, some high value systems ship browser extensions and they seem to be used, so it looks like they're still being used.
Have you created any? Do you use any?
