Hey everyone, Mohammad here from Gadget. 👋

Gadget is the first AI-ASSISTED IDE AND HOSTING PLATFORM that can do it all, with zero handoffs. Our AI will help you code, test, debug, deploy, and scale web apps – all under one roof.

It’s for professional or new and aspiring devs at agencies, app studios, or working out of their basements looking to build real apps that make money.

Whether it's SAAS products, apps for Shopify or plugins for Webflow, Gadget is battle-tested and heavily used by enterprise retail brands and agencies in the ecommerce space, and handles over 2BN API and 500M webhooks each month. So you can trust it with serious use cases.

What makes Gadget better than the competition?

💻 You get an IDE that has everything you need to code, debug, and deploy. You get a code editor, a terminal, a UI for adding/managing tables, frontend previews, API playgrounds, logs, and more…If you prefer your own IDE, you can work locally using our CLI.

⚒️ You will NEVER setup any infra! It’s all magically there, hosted and connected as soon as you start. Not just the basics, but the full monty: GCP hosting, Postgres DB w/ replicas, Redis stores, Elasticsearch, Temporal background jobs…

✅ Auth and permissioning are built-in! Rather than coding it from scratch each time and hoping it’s secure, the assistant will extend Gadget’s built-in login & permissioning system (built by us, experienced human devs). It comes with the backend and UIs for secure email/pw login, Google SSO, and pw recovery flows. The assistant can update it to match your exact requirements.

🧠 The AI has more context, capabilities, and best practices trained into it. It can see everything about your app, its code, and the infra that powers it. This added context means it makes better engineering decisions.

📈 All the infra is serverless. Gadget will scale it, update it, upgrade it and handle any security patches needed. We’ll even scale your database, automatically re-indexing it as your queries change. Monitored by our 24/7 ops team.

Gadget will help you build and run web apps quickly and easily, while guaranteeing that the apps themselves are secure and performant, and always on. Join our community of 3000+ dedicated founders, developers, and builders and launch your next big project with Gadget! 🚀

Everyone gets a bunch of AI credits and hosting for free — and we’re giving the Product Hunt community an exclusive code for an extra 100 credits when you upgrade: PHLAUNCH-AI

@hashemito This looks super powerful, Mohammad. Love how Gadget takes care of the entire stack and removes all the setup headaches, that’s a game-changer, especially for solo builders and early-stage teams.

The built-in auth and AI-assisted coding are especially impressive. Curious : how well does the AI handle more complex app logic or edge cases?

Excited to try it out. Thanks for the PH bonus too! 🚀

Mo Hashemi

@aarav_trivedi Pretty well. The paltform's been in market for a while and most of the entreprise brands and agencies in the Shopify space use it to build mission-critical custom apps like systems integrations, and internal tools.

There's also about 300+ Shopify apps in the app store powered by Gadget, installed by 100k+ brands, doing 2BN+ API calls per month already. It's quite battle tested and very much for serious use-cases. Not tinder for dogs...

We've just added a ton of AI and are bringing it to a much more general purpose audience.

@hashemito congrats on the launch! Great to see a lot of what the team has been building being put together so flawlessly!

Hi everyone!

Sharing our experience using Gadget - so we have already built StoreAlert.io using Gadget and have been using the platform ever since.

From the very start, Gadget really helped skiping the usual setup headaches and focus purely on building (dev productivity unlocked).

What excites us most now is the AI-first direction Gadget is taking. If the core experience was already this good, adding an intelligent assistant to help code, configure, debug, and deploy is going to supercharge dev teams.

It’s becoming complete development environment with brains.

Huge kudos to Mo & the team for pushing the boundaries 👏!

I've had a fantastic experience using Gadget! I've built several public and private apps on the platform, and recently even sold one, I've been a long time user and I can recommend their stability and the magical SDK generation that Gadget offers would make any dev happy.

Their team has been exceptionally helpful every step of the way, and it's clear how far the product has come. It's not just feature-rich, it's also incredibly reliable battle-tested in production and ready to scale. Highly recommend it to anyone building serious apps with AI at the core. If you want to ship fast, Gadget is the platform to do it.

Extremely excited to try this out, well done Harry, Mo and Team Gadget 🚀

This is the kind of platform I wish existed when I first started building SaaS tools. Having infra, auth, and AI-powered debugging in one place is a serious unlock.

I'm a bit biased (I'm part of the team), but it's hard not to see platforms like Gadget as the future of app development.

I've seen - and experienced - firsthand just how powerful Gadget is for agencies, developers and non-developers alike having directly seen some incredible success stories over the last few months.

The AI-assisted IDE is a real game-changer: it helps new creators build their first apps, and empowers experienced devs to do more, faster.

Check it out—we’d love your feedback!

Gianmaria Caltagirone

Gadget 3 feels like an AI-powered full-stack factory—backend, frontend, database, and hosting spin up in minutes, so agencies and solo builders can jump straight to product logic: this sounds amazing!

A few suggestions from my first pass:

  • A staging-to-production promotion flow (with branch previews) would ease agency hand-offs.

  • A cost dashboard that estimates runtime + storage as you add features could calm CFO nerves.

  • A public template gallery—Shopify quiz, SaaS CRM, internal dashboard—would slash time-to-value for newcomers.

Anyway, great tool—Gadget is shaping up to be a serious acceleration layer for modern web apps, I hope! 🚀

Mo Hashemi

@gianmaria_caltagirone Exactly!

Love this. It looks pretty similar to Lovable — is that right?

Mo Hashemi

@kay_arkain Closer to Replit in this incarnation, though we have some more plans to reveal about this soon...

These days, I think the performance or speed of AI doesn't really matter.

What really matter is how the IDE let developer click less, open less windows, and get less stress.

Congratulations, @hashemito!

Launched an app a couple years ago and this would've saved me so many dev hours and $$. Looks awesome, congrats!

Rigel St Pierre

I'm Rigel St. Pierre. I'm the director of engineering at Mejuri.

Before Shopify and Gadget, our development was fragmented across various platforms – Lambda functions, frontend solutions, and server-side applications – making management incredibly challenging.

Gadget simplifies everything by eliminating deployment orchestration and enabling our frontend developers to handle backend tasks. This allows our team to own solutions top-to-bottom in a familiar JavaScript environment.

We can now solve problems mid-development cycle without waiting for backend developers to have space in their sprint schedule. The vertical integration eliminates the need to involve DevOps for provisioning and deployment tasks.

We built a custom Ruby on Rails middleware app, but if Gadget had its current capabilities six months earlier, we would have approached it completely differently.

Looking back, I would build everything in Gadget – it breaks the stereotype of low-code tools by making it genuinely easy to build full-stack applications.

Mo Hashemi

@rigel_st_pierre Thanks for the vote of confidence

Rahim Pirzada

I’m curious how this would integrate with my existing workflow. Does it support all types of projects, or is it more tailored to specific tech stacks?

Mo Hashemi

@rahim_pirzada

Full-stack JS apps only. Node.js backend, React on Vite for frontend, Postgres DB. From there, you have complete control and access to the entire package ecosystem and can import and install anything just like a normal JS environment.

So to answer your question: if you can build it in JS, you can build it in Gadget. If you shouldnt build it in JS, then dont do it in Gadget (but that should be rare for web apps).

Mo Hashemi

@rahim_pirzada Give it a try and dm me some feedback on our discord server and ill give you tons of credits
