@monika_ambrozowicz Hi there! Congratulations on the launch of your new Node.js agent - that sounds really exciting! We're looking forward to learning more about what it can do and how it will help improve our internal tool solutions. Thanks for sharing this news with us!
@monika_ambrozowicz A toast to your launch! With your determination and perseverance, there is nothing that you cannot over come. Wishing you all the best and Congrats my friend!Kudos!
The best admin panel I have had the pleasure of working with. Things have come a long way since phpAdmin, Django Admin, Active Admin. I can see a world where Forest Admin is the go-to admin regardless of the datasource or tech stack. Just keep it as βsimpleβ as possible to roll-out the basic stuff, and only expose the minimum necesaary customization features. I have been using it for 3 years.
Thank you so much @ricardojr ! π The pleasure is ours. I've been using Django Admin as a non-technical user and it was really a pain, not to mention how it looked like π
This new Node.js agent we've just released aims to facilitate the developer experience as much as possible, and with new features like workspaces, we let non-tech users customize their own interfaces with a simple drag-and-drop UI. If you'd like to know more about it, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
Forest Admin is a fantastic internal tool that pays as much attention to dev experience as user experience. Very excited to see this release, I can't wait to try it out!
Facilitating multiple data source integration has been one of our customers' #1 requests since the start. To offer a top-level user experience the team went back to the drawing board and redesigned our open-source agent. Great to see our product roadmap deliver for our customers π
Very impressed by the product improvement ! Forest could definitely be the go-to product to create robust internal tools on top of multi-databases with the ability to let non-dev build the perfect interfaces for their Ops ! Congrats Forest
So happy to finally see this launch. π The new Forest Admin Node.js is so easy to use as it supports all major Node.js framework integrations like Express, Nest, Koa, and Fastify.
It is really a pleasure to implement, in a few lines of code, a really powerful admin panel that can be easily customized by non-tech team members.
So happy to have been a part of this project.
The DX was improved quite a lot, and the fact that it now supports multiple datasources in a single project is huge.
The fact that you can now create an admin panel with just a few lines of code is just π€―.
Forest Admin just shifted into second gear! If you're looking for a great admin panel builder where devs have close to no work and maintenance time and non-dev are free to build the perfect UI for their processes, autonomously, then you're in for a treat π€―
Here we go again! I'm glad to see how the product has evolved based on our expertise and, more than anything else, users feedbacks and needs. Congrats to all the team for the launch, and the new polished experience. Gather your operations and get onboard in minutes!
My team is working with this admin panel on a daily basis, and for us it's a no brainer that we would choose to implement it again if the question arose !!!
I am so happy to be able to finally provide a robust admin panel generator to the entire NodeJS community!
I have always been surprised that in certain frameworks of other languages like Rails, Laravel, Django, etc., there were always some pretty cool open-source projects to generate an admin panel.
Whereas in NodeJS, there were some attempts but nothing that was well maintained and convincing.
One of the reasons I can think of is that the Node community is quite split across several different frameworks such as Express, Hapi, Fastify, etc. With our integration of Forest Admin and NodeJS, we are offering a universal solution that is compatible with all of these.
I really hope that this will bring a lot of value to this community, which has been close to my heart since NodeJS 0.6 (11 years ago already!!!)
Hmm, It's pretty interesting. When I was coding in Django I loved the admin panel, but now I'm working with Nest and Mongo and I think this could be it.
Hey @david_sipos, give it a try :) and let me know if you have any questions or feedback! The new Node.js agent works smoothly with Nest, just please make sure you click on Nest's logo when creating a project.
