Folds is the easiest way to build custom Shopify stores. Just drag and drop elements onto a canvas, and hit publish. Start from scratch or use one of our 50+ blocks and 10+ page templates. Pages built with Folds are 100% responsive.

Hello Product Hunt 👋 I'm incredibly excited to be announcing our launch! 2.5 years ago I was running a Shopify store, and I felt frustrated with the available tooling to customize my store. I had bought a $400 theme off the Shopify theme store and had to pay another developer over $500 to make the tweaks I wanted. I knew there was a better way to customize my store. I was starting to learn Figma at the time, so I thought to myself: "Why can't building Shopify stores be this easy?" I then decided to learn how to program from scratch, and over 2 years later we're finally ready to launch. With Folds, you can simply drag and drop elements onto a canvas and hit publish. The design experience is as easy as using Canva / Figma / PowerPoint, but we built it specifically for Shopify stores. Pages designed in Folds are 100% responsive. Just re-position the elements for tablet and mobile and we’ll make sure it looks great on every screen size. You can already create product image carousels, custom carousels, color swatches, accordions, option dropdowns, and so much more. The possibilities are endless. We currently have 10+ full pages templates, and 50+ individual blocks you can use as a starting point for your store. Even better, you can access Folds today for 100% free 🤯 You can get Folds on the Shopify app store: https://apps.shopify.com/folds I would love to hear your feedback! - you can also message me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/noahthebaron - or you can send me an email: noah@folds.app Cheers, Noah

It's surprising that so few Shopify-related products are launching on Product Hunt. Good luck with Folds! By the way, since it's completely free, do you have plans to monetize it somehow, perhaps through premium themes or blocks?

@vorniches Thanks Sergei! The plan is to run it for free for the next several months until we're confident we have a great product. After that, I want to charge based on the revenue generated using our pages. For example: the first $5,000 in sales generated using our pages would be free then $19.95 / month after that. I think this is a great way to ensure our services are available for everyone and our incentives are aligned.

@noahthebaron sounds reasonable; it might involve some marketing efforts on the Shopify App Store side, as I can imagine – there must be an exciting story to tell :)
