Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ––

Iโ€™m Shubham, the maker of Helix, and Iโ€™m beyond excited to share this with you! ๐Ÿš€
The best products arenโ€™t built in one go, they evolve. ๐Ÿš€

Many founders make the mistake of jumping straight into development, only to realize at launch that it's not what users actually want. The reality? Ideas donโ€™t come fully formed. They improve as you go through the cycle of IDEATE โ†’ DESIGN โ†’ TEST โ†’ ITERATE.

This loop is the key to making something people want. Every iteration brings new insights, helping you refine both the product and the problem it solves. fn7 Helix makes this process faster, so you can validate, refine, and build with confidence before investing months.

Our mission? To empower every founder to bring their idea to life. Whether you're validating an idea, pitching to investors, or gathering user feedback, Helix helps you move forward with confidence.

Weโ€™d love to hear your thoughts! Whatโ€™s the biggest challenge you face when turning an idea into reality? Drop a comment below! ๐Ÿ’ก

Thanks for your support! ๐Ÿ™Œ

It feels like we're getting closer to solving the "my team just needs one developer" problem, haha. Congrats no the launch. Well done!

Shubham Pancholi

Hey@zhiqi_shi ,

We love that "one developer" problem framing! You've hit on a key point - in the very beginning, sometimes it feels like you're trying to build the whole world with just a hammer and nails. ๐Ÿ˜‚

That's exactly why we built fn7 Helix. We want to empower founders to get those initial ideas out of their heads and into something tangible, even before they have a full team or dedicated developer onboard. It's all about fast validation and learning in those crucial early stages.

Thanks so much for the congrats and the well wishes! Really appreciate you checking out fn7 Helix! ๐Ÿ™

smit sonani

Finally, someone is making prototyping less painful! As a founder, I truly appreciate tools that simplify the process and let us focus on the big picture. fn7 Helix looks like it nails this. Thank you for building this! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Shubham Pancholi

Hey@smit3901 ,

Thanks so much for your kind words! You totally get what we're aiming for with fn7 Helix. We built it because, honestly, we felt the pain ourselves! So many great ideas get stuck in the "prototype too hard" phase. We wanted to create something that truly empowers founders to quickly validate their vision and keep that momentum going. Really appreciate you recognising that! ๐Ÿ™ Let us know if you have any feedback as you start using it! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Maria Anosova ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Very useful product - you can see the serious work of the whole team. Congratulations on the launch! Good luck to you๐Ÿ”ฅ

Shubham Pancholi

Hey @maria_anosova

Thank you so much! Your comment really brightened our day! It's been a long journey โ€“ weโ€™ve poured over 10,000 hours into fn7 Helix, fueled by a passion to help founders like ourselves and you.

To make sure we were building something truly valuable, we spoke with over 300 founders, designers, and PMs, learning firsthand about the struggles of turning ideas into reality. fn7 Helix is a direct result of those conversations and that dedication. We're so grateful you see the usefulness in it. Thanks for the support!

Shivam Singh

This hits home, Shubham! Too many founders skip the iteration cycle and end up building for assumptions rather than real user needs. Love that Helix is making it easier to validate, refine, and de-risk ideas before going all in.

Congrats on the launch!

Best wishes and sending lots of wins to the team :) @shubham_pancholi

Shubham Pancholi

Hey @whatshivamdo

Thank you so much for your insightful comment and the upvote! We really appreciate you recognizing the core value of fn7 Helix โ€“ empowering founders to prioritize validation and iteration early on.

You're spot on; skipping this crucial cycle can lead to building on assumptions, a challenge we saw many founders facing firsthand. That's precisely why we built Helix: to make de-risking ideas and iterating rapidly accessible to everyone, especially in the early stages. We believe that every founder deserves the chance to test and refine their vision before investing heavily in development.

Knowing you're in the product and growth space at Shram, your feedback means a lot. Thanks again for your support and best wishes! We're sending wins your way too! โœจ

@marianna_tymchuk Exactly! Thank you so much for your comment!

We built fn7 Helix specifically because we saw so many founders pouring their heart and soul (and savings!) into ideas that hadn't been properly validated. The pain of building something nobody wants is real, and we wanted to provide a solution.

Tried it out! One word: awesome!

Pros:

  1. It takes less than 3mins tbh

  2. The questions it asks are pure gold

  3. The flows make it clear to process & extend the functionality of the app.

  4. Considers Multi sided platforms, which is one factor that surprised me!

Cons:

  1. The navigation is a little confusing. The UI felt a little cluttered.

  2. Help or guides would be great for finding out the required options

  3. I initially wanted to create a desktop prototype. I assume you're planning for it.

Here's the prototype I generated, feel free to explore here

Antony Stewart

@shubham_pancholi congrats on the launch & here's some quick feedback. Great work by the way!

Dinesh Bypilla

@antony_stewart Thanks Antony, the next version, definitely resolves the cons 1 & 2. We're fine with the UX design. We're currently in the user testing phase. So I would say it's just around the corner.

Dinesh Bypilla

@antony_stewart And for #3 of the cons, yes it's on our roadmap!

Muhammad Waseem Panhwar
@shubham_pancholi congratulations on the launch!

For someone with a super early-stage idea โ€“ maybe just a concept written on a napkin! โ€“ how user-friendly is fn7 Helix? Is it truly intuitive for complete beginners?

This hits close to home! One of the biggest challenges for me has always been balancing speed and validation. Itโ€™s tempting to overbuild and perfect something before getting real user input โ€” but every time Iโ€™ve waited too long, Iโ€™ve regretted it.

Curious โ€” does Helix offer specific templates or frameworks to guide each stage (like user interview scripts, wireframe templates, etc.)? Would love to know how it helps structure that ideate โ†’ design โ†’ test loop. Looks super useful for early-stage projects! ๐Ÿš€

Dinesh Bypilla

@williamrobertscott Appreciate your thoughts! That balance between speed and validation is exactly what Helix is designed to tackle.

We actually had a version of Helix in the past that included structured guidance for different stages, like user interview prompts and wireframe templates. But in order to define and test quickly, we had to drop a few thingsโ€”including most of what you mentioned. Weโ€™ll be bringing those features back soon, once the need is clearly established.

Would love to hear your thoughts if you give it a try! Does Helix provide enough guidance for your process right now? Any feedback on what you'd like to see? ๐Ÿš€

Hi, I wanted to share my recent experience with your platform. I was excited to see my prototype within 3 minutes, as advertised, but unfortunately, it took over an hour due to server traffic issues. While I appreciate the transparency of the notifications, seeing the same message repeatedly without updates made the wait feel much longer.

Iโ€™d love to see improvements in two areas:

  1. More accurate time estimates upfront to set realistic expectations.

  2. Progress updates during delays so users know their request is still being processed.

Tools like yours have huge potential, and I hope these hiccups can be resolved to ensure a smoother experience moving forward. Thanks for listening!

Hi, following up on my earlier commentโ€”after waiting for 1 hour and 12 minutes, the prototype finally loaded, but it came with only 2 pages updated, which is far from the complete output I was expecting. Given the time invested, this feels like a significant loss in productivity, especially since the final result was less than 2% of what I anticipated.

To summarize:

  • The initial promise of 'ready in 3 minutes' turned into over an hour.

  • The output was incomplete, with only 2 pages processed out of the full set.

This experience has been quite frustrating, as it not only wasted valuable time but also delivered minimal value. I hope you can look into these issues urgently to ensure that users receive both timely and complete results. Tools like yours have great potential, but reliability and accuracy are key to maintaining trust.

Looking forward to seeing improvements soon. Thank you.

Shubham Pancholi

Hello @md_rahmat_ali2, I am really sorry for the experience you had. I can understand your frustration. We didn't expected to that happen. Team is checking your issues and will respond to you registered mail.

I am glad you point this out so we can address and improve product. Thanks for the support!

Dinesh Bypilla

Thanks again @md_rahmat_ali2, and truly sorry for the experience you had!

To make up for it, weโ€™ve added 600 credits to your accountโ€”weโ€™d love for you to give it another shot! Please try generating a new prototype and let us know how it goes. We want to make sure Helix works smoothly for you.

What happened:

Somewhere in the process, the system ran into a loop while generating your prototype, which kept re-triggering the same notification. This was completely unexpected.

Next steps:

We're actively investigating the issue to ensure it doesnโ€™t happen again. Also weโ€™re working on improving error handling so that situations like this get caught and resolved much faster. And, thanks for bringing up real-time progress updatesโ€”weโ€™ll definitely be incorporating this in future releases to keep users better informed every step of the way.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping us refine Helix, and we truly appreciate your patience. Looking forward to seeing what you build next! ๐Ÿš€

Best,

Team fn7

Hi @d1nz ,

Thank you for your response and for adding credits to my account as a gesture of goodwill. However, I wanted to bring up a couple of concerns regarding the credit update and the output quality:

  1. Credit Discrepancy:
According to your message, 600 credits were added to my account. Before this, I had approximately 345 credits, so the total should have been around 945 credits . However, my current balance shows only 600 credits . Unfortunately, there doesnโ€™t seem to be an option to view a credit history or transaction log, which leaves me uncertain about what happened. This lack of transparency can create confusion and mistrust for users. Having a clear credit history feature would help avoid such misunderstandings in the future.

  2. Output Quality Concerns:
While I appreciate that the system is now responding faster (thank you for resolving the earlier delay issue), the output quality still falls short of expectations. Using the same prompt, I generated a prototype, but the results were underwhelming. Hereโ€™s why:

    • The design guidelines werenโ€™t followed properly.

    • The output felt basic or entry-level , lacking the polish and sophistication I was hoping for.

    • Based on the product intro video, I expected a wow factor in the designs, but unfortunately, that wasnโ€™t reflected in the final result.

If I were to rate the output, Iโ€™d give it 30 out of 100 โ€”itโ€™s functional but far from impressive. Thereโ€™s definitely room for improvement in terms of delivering higher-quality, professional-grade designs that align with the expectations set by your marketing materials.

That said, I do believe in the potential of Helix and appreciate your teamโ€™s willingness to listen and improve. I hope these points provide valuable insights as you continue refining the platform. Looking forward to seeing meaningful updates in both functionality and output quality.

Best regards,

Rahmat

Hello Rahmat (@md_rahmat_ali2)

would love to connect with you to understand this in depth. We're constantly making changes to the product, but critical feedback like this is what makes the product shine & useful for everyone.

If you're comfortable for a call, please book a slot from here.
We want Helix to work for you better.

PS: Regarding the credits, it was a miscommunication. We meant we have increased the number of credits to 600.

600 credits will allow you to iterate multiple versions for a single prototype, including all the roles.

Stefano Monteduro
Regardless of the prototypeโ€™s outcome, which is impressive in itself, even just the process of inputting the idea and the following steps are extremely helpful for an initial form of validation. There is potential.

๐Ÿ’Ž Pixel perfection
@niveditha_patluri I used it by inputting a brief I had prepared and had previously used to present an idea to a designer. As I mentioned, I found the wizard part stimulating. I think itโ€™s an essential step for Helix to properly define and refine the prototype, but I also see it as a great tool for validating the idea itself. The questions it asks help you understand whether the direction you have in mind is the right one. The prototype part is also well-designed. I can modify the flows and the layout, which is already a great feature. If I had to point out some concerns, Iโ€™d say I find it a bit difficult to navigate between the different screens of the various flows. In my test, for example, in the design view and the flow, I see pages that I canโ€™t access from the prototype. Another issue, along the same lines, is that I end up with duplicated screens in the flow, but with different descriptions. For example, I have a page for editing an entity, and I see multiple instances of it in the flow, but they all display the same screen. This might also be the reason why I canโ€™t access subsequent pages from the prototype. So perhaps making the connections between buttons/elements that link to different pages more visible could be helpful.
Dinesh Bypilla

@stemonte Greatly detailed feedback. Much appreciated! There's a lot to unpack here.
