FlutterFlow 2.0 — Build beautiful and functional native apps online

FlutterFlow is an online low-code platform that empowers people to build native mobile apps visually. For 2.0, we’ve added Maps, Search, Push Notifications, Animations, one-click deploy to the app store and more! You can still view and export clean code.

I am excited to try out Flutter Flow for my next mobile app dev project, well done and congratulations on your launch
Massimo Chieruzzi
Love it! Great job guys!! The only thing I don't understand is why sending PH traffic to a landing page with no signup CTA ?
Abel Mengistu
@massimocw thanks Massimo! we'll update that shortly :)

Hi Alex, Indeed it's a great share, I want to ask something can I create and app like this https://play.google.com/store/ap... as I have no code knowledge and I want to build waitlist app like this and they can invite others to join the waitlist and earn rewards/giveaways.
Abel Mengistu
@iizhar_ahmad_danish Thank you! You should be able to build most of the features in that app, including all of the UI. Fingerprint scanning and specific payment provider integration will probably require customization of the code we generate for you. We'll take you 90%+ of the way there.

Congrats @abel_mengistu & @agreaves on the release 2.0 and the launch on Product Hunt! 🔥 Can we expect an integration of Adstronomic in the version 3.0? 😉
Abel Mengistu
@flrn thanks Florian!
Arthur Conan
An interesting platform. A common problem with these platforms is clumsy output. How are you guys with this question? In general, I like your product. Thanks.
Abel Mengistu
@arthurconan we generate readable code that follows best practices for the most part. https://app.flutterflow.io/code/...
Yalin Solmaz
This type of drag and drop coding is revolutionary. I will most definitely be using it in my next project. Well done! 👏
Abel Mengistu
@filmique Thanks Yalin! 🙏

Hi Hunters 👋 Alex and Abel here, makers of FlutterFlow. We are very excited to be back on Product Hunt. The amazing feedback and support we got from the community on that first launch was humbling, we took your input and went back to building. Thank you! 💜 Today we’re launching FlutterFlow 2.0 as we approach our 1-year birthday as a company 🎂 We’ve added tons of new features since our last launch! 🔍 Add search to your apps seamlessly using Algolia 🗺 Google Maps integration (which can also display search results as markers!) 🌊 Animations (both natively in FlutterFlow and imported Lottie animations) 🚀 Deploy directly to the App Store 🎯 Custom functions using Dart code 🔔 Push Notifications 💰 Accept payments using Braintree/Paypal 👯 Invite your team to a project to collaborate Additionally, we’ve now added support for directly exporting the generated code to Github, making it easy for you to modify the code as needed. We’re excited to get more input and feedback from the PH community! 🙏
Alex Greaves
@nihalbhushan Thank you Nihal!
Alexander Podgayko
Amazing! I specifically like it in comparison to the other no-code solutions I've seen, because here you can actually export the code and fine tune it without limitations always included in no-code. I have one question, although: is Flutterflow meant for building web/responsive applications as well? I see how I can get the source code and build it for web myself, but I wonder should I really do this and what problems to expect?
Alex Greaves
@alexander_podgayko Thank you very much, Alexander! Exporting clean code is one of our core philosophies! And that's a great question. Currently our focus is on mobile, although Flutter also builds to web and we hope to support web applications in the future. However, we wouldn't recommend it for more traditional websites (such as a landing page). Tools such as WebFlow already do a great job at this.
Kevin Simons
Most app builders are a letdown once you get beyond toy apps but FlutterFlow is so well thought out that it can actually get you to real world apps, just way way faster. Loving the design and integrations too!
Abel Mengistu
@ksimons Thank you Kevin!
Kirill Marenkov
Congrats on the launch. Looks great for creating MVP and testing ideas. Project library with code examples seems to be very helpful. Good luck with scaling up!
Abel Mengistu
@marenkovcyril appreciate it Cyril!
Kate Ferrara
My team has been using FF since the beta and following along with all of the super frequent feature releases. It truly has changed our game of mobile dev and made the line/hand-off between designer and developer almost non-existent. Nothing is more valuable than a tool that helps you get your idea in front of people faster. Congrats on 2.0 and I am looking forward to our next mobile project to get to test out all the new features!
Alex Greaves
@kateferrara Thanks Kate, that means the world to us! Our goal is to help you and other teams like you have as smooth an experience as possible building your apps. Appreciate the feedback and excited to make more improvements for you in the future!
Dave Bain
Really timely and useful. I've been learning Flutter recently and this is one very large gap/opportuntity in the market. Cant wait to try it!
Abel Mengistu
@davob Thanks Dave! If you have any questions or have feedback for us you can check out our community page: community.flutterflow.io
Ryan McNutt
I have recommended this product to every founder I have met since they launched. Thank you so much for building this! I feel they are only just getting started!
Abel Mengistu
@ryanmcnutt thanks so much for the support from the early days Ryan! indeed, we're only getting started
Ali Kibao
Great work to the FlutterFlow team. You keep dishing out useful features week in week out. It feels like the right place to be right now.
Abel Mengistu
@alikibao Thanks Ali! We have amazing users, we've got to deliver :)
Tarlan Isaev
Oh, thanks for the support team. They've just unlocked my ability to write a comment. I didn't know that I was flaged for some reason :) Anyway, love you product guys. Keep it up hehe :)
Yonz
Amazing product, crush react native builders with the export to code feature. Great job @abel_mengistu @agreaves! Looking forward to the futures you will continue to add.
Abel Mengistu
@yfeleke thank you!!
old shawn profile, see @swyx
My absolute favorite thing about FlutterFlow isn't just the gorgeous design and the intuitive UX (i just skipped the tutorial and started building and got pretty far lol) - it's that every email update from the FlutterFlow team brings some gorgeous new component or feature. The trajectory is just mindboggling. congrats team!
Abel Mengistu
@shawnwang thanks swyx 💜
Amanda Mills
Happy one year, FlutterFlow team! It’s been fun to watch your product grow, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for you. I loved that you included the build time for the apps built using FlutterFlow in your product video 🔥
Abel Mengistu
@amandamills thanks, appreciate you! :)
James Shecter
So stoked about this product! No other low/no-code tools come close in terms of ease-of-use/intuitiveness, comprehensive features, and truly *delightful* UI atop it all. Beyond excited to see where it goes...
Abel Mengistu
@james_shecter thanks so much James! we're just getting started 🙌
Dale Jones
FlutterFlow has helped our team at M8Systems feel better about adopting Flutter for our next version of our mobile apps. It has sped up the process between designer and developers and allows our designers to be a participant in the development process instead of handing off Figma files and hoping for the best. There is a lot of support for the product, and new features and bug fixes seem to be released on a weekly basis. Overall I love using FlutterFlow and am excited about some of the new features headed to the product.
Abel Mengistu
@gobigdale thanks Dale! We're really glad we can bring value to your team, much more to come and thanks for the support!
