Be your product's super user -- The unexpected inspiration behind our AI Pen's charging case.
One thing I've learned from building Flowtica Scribe is the importance of being your own super user. You really start to notice the little things that matter.

For our AI Pen, we were initially all about the pen itself. Then, a team member (a big pen fan) showed us his Montblanc. The pen was nice, sure, but it was the leather case that really stood out. It just felt… quality.
That got us thinking about our own pen's charging case. It shouldn't just charge the pen. It could be more.
So, we focused on a couple of key things:
Always Charged: We wanted to kill that feeling of your pen dying at the wrong moment. The case makes sure it's always full.
Premium Feel: We worked hard on the leather, the stitching, and even the small metal parts. We wanted it to feel great in your hand. We actually took some ideas from how high-end glasses cases are made.
It took a lot of back and forth with our manufacturing partners to get it right. At first, we had a simpler design for the inside. But it didn't have that "wow" factor. We wanted something that felt more premium.
Use your product constantly. You'll find those little details that can make a big difference. And don't be afraid to obsess over them. If you love it, chances are your users will too.
What are some small details in products you've built or used that made a big impact for you? Keen to hear your stories!
