Hi everyone, I'm Andrey Severin, the creator of FlowMapp - online UX planning tool for creating interactive visual sitemaps. FlowMapp is very effective for planning websites architecture and it allows all the participants in the process to cooperate with each other, which makes the workflow easier and more comfortable. Here is the main features: - Create a visually attractive sitemap without knowledge of special programs and code; - Choose page covers for easier reading of information; - Add descriptions of projects and pages; - Plan the structure of each page; - Discuss the pages inside the projects; - Edit sitemap online, in collaboration with colleagues or clients; - Share projects with colleagues and clients with the convenient function of sharing; - Notify users using @mention in comments; I hope that your work will become much more pleasant and effective with FlowMapp 💪 I'd love to hear your feedback. Thanks!

@mention @severin Hey Andrey! I've just noticed "User Flow Coming Soon" in the app, but I don't see any other announcements. When can we expect this feature in the app? :)
Andrey Severin
@mention @dimaishere Thanks for an interesting question. Now we are working on User Flow. Integration with the Sketch is planned for early 2018. Here you can see the nearest steps: https://flowmapp.com/roadmap/

@severin looks awesome. I would pay for it right now if I could pull existing pages from our site into the flow map. Start with what we have and edit from there.
Andrey Severin
@larrykokoszka Thank you, Larry! I know what you mean. We already have requests for such functionality, perhaps we will make it in the near future.

@mention @severin Congrats. It looks great. We use such maps a lot and have AutoDesk (yes Autodesk in a s/w company) to manage our flows. I'd love to show you what we do (I'm yet to find a commercial product that can do what Autodesk can, but I would love to walk away from Autodesk if possible.). Great work!
Siddharth Nahar
Isn’t this similar to marvel app? What additional do we get in it?
Andrey Severin
@siddharth_nahar Hi Siddharth, thank you for your question. No, it's absolutely different products. With FlowMapp you can create visual sitemaps and plan website content.
Tom Johnson
@siddharth_nahar Unless you're talking about a different marvel app, these two programs are completely different. Marvel is a prototyping tool, this is an IA tool.
Siddharth Nahar
@tomjohndesign yes you are right. I got confused as it called out UX planning tool which is possible by marvel too.

Used Flowmapp for my latest project and I love it.

Pros:

Great tool for building informational architecture for web-project. Looking good and is user-friendly. Good job guys!

Cons:

Another tool in my project management and design workflows. Maybe think of integrations with other services, like Sketch, Invision, etc?

Chris Frantz
This looks amazing. Finally I can stop using mind maps to hack together a site map.
Andrey Severin
@frantzlight happy to hear that! Let me know if you will have any ideas of what to add 😉
Tom Johnson
Lots of potential here. Would love to be able to use this for mobile and product design as well. Looks like most of the pages are geared towards corporate or marketing sites, which is great, just not my personal use case.
Andrey Severin
@tomjohndesign Thank you Tom for sharing your opinion with us. We're working on introducing new tools and improving FlowMapp so we’ll definitely try to make this option available next year.

Nice tool

Pros:

Easy to use, good design

Cons:

Instability of connection

Andrey Severin
Thanks!

I created a beautiful site map with very little learning curve, really fast.

I've already recommended it to my colleagues, and they've been asking about being able to export to WordPress, and how this compares with Slickplan in general.

It would be great if it had the ability to import a sitemap from an XML sitemap file.

It would also be great if I could work out how to export the Sections and content of sections.

Pros:

I always wanted my sitemaps to look like they were created in Illustrator.

Cons:

Not sure about how to make Sections and content included in the Export.

Andrey Severin
Hi Trish! Sections Export - it was our mistake and we have fixed it. You can try it now.
Andrey Severin
We are thinking about Exporting to XML and probably implement it in future releases.
Dan Entin
@severin Sections Export is not working again. Just exported a PDF and the sections were missing and there are no checkboxes in the export tool to include/exclude.
Andrey Severin
@danentin Hey Dan! it works now, please check
Anthony Da Mota

I've tried it for about a day, this is very good since the UI is very easy to understand.

Pros:

Beautiful UI, very easy to use.

Cons:

Always attempting to restore "connection".

Andrey Severin
Thanks, we have fixed it already. Sorry for that!
Nikita Vidineev

Very useful tool for managers and art-directors

Cons:

Sketch sync

Andrey Severin

Visually attractive, simple and with an affordable plan. I'm looking for an app like this as I'm facing a new UX project and I will try your app for sure! I'll come back with some feedback. Thanks for sharing!
Andrey Severin
@jabadhid Great, we are looking forward to hear some feedback from you.

Can not use this tool for building custom products, just for repeatable lo-fi workflow.

Pros:

Allows build pretty architecture, attach files to screens, post comments and easily navigate.

Cons:

I can not add custom page covers. Attachments have no iconic preview and loose quality.

Andrey Severin
Thanks for your opinion. We think about this offer because we have already got such ideas from our users. Also we will constantly increase the number of covers. You can write me what covers you are the most need and we will add it.
Aaron Michael
I tried hunting this a few weeks ago, but it got flagged :(
Andrey Severin
@aaron_michael Hi Aaron, we were not ready for Hunting at that time and we posted about it in our Twitter profile.
Ivan Podnar
Will def start with free account but 100MB limit!? Typo?
Andrey Severin
@ipodnar Hi Ivan, Free account gives you One Free Project and 100 mb Disc Space.
Moe Arora

Not working for me.

Pros:

Looks appealing but not able to create even 1 project

Cons:

Can't create a project. It keeps saying I've exceeded the 1 project limit even though it hasn't allowed me to create a project.

Andrey Kovalev
@new_user_6bf25c637c We are sorry about that. Write support (support@flowmapp.com) your email address. We will fix with your problem as quickly as possible
Brandon Uttley
This is one of the best web sitemapping tools I've ever seen...kudos to the makers!

Flowmapp is a very limited diagramming tool. @severin We ran into some . Our "Home Page" has a product grid with individual products linking to Product Detail pages, but also links to Catalog page. The Catalog page also has links to individual Product Detail pages. but there is no way to link both the home page and the catalog page to the Product page. Is there some feature I don't know about, or is this just a limitation of your model (I don't have this problem with the free draw.io diagramming tool). https://screencast.com/t/KA5qWeg...
Andrey Severin
@max_hodges Actually, FlowMapp is not diagramic tool 🙂 (yet) It looks like you want to create a user flow. We are currently working on it and plan to implement it early 2018.
Max Hodges
@severin so how would you organize our sitemap in Flowmapp: 1) home page 2) catalog page; and 3) product page. What are the connector (lines) in Flowmapp suppose to mean if they don't indicate flow?
Anna Filou

I think it's a fair business model to allow having one sitemap for free and only paying for more but I find it kinda expensive to be honest :) 8 $/month for 5 sitemaps... In any case, a VERY useful tool, huge time-saver!!!

Pros:

Beatiful minimal page preview templates (many of them), easy to se, can export in image format and PDF

Cons:

PDF export doesn't work for me, kinda expensive

Need a signup with google/twitter feature
Andrey Kovalev
@md5sha1 Hi Roby, thanks for the feedback. This functionality is planned for the near future
