Why would anyone in their right mind opt to build a business on an abstracted solution on top of a proprietary ops blackbox?
@thomas will all the due respect :) it's not all that bad. There's a ton of "proprietary ops black boxes" these days that are helping to run a myriad of businesses online - Zapier, Webflow, Squarespace, Stripe, Gumroad, Notion, Typeform, Bubble - this list keeps growing every day.
You're rightfully representing the prevalent (and healthy) skepticism from business towards the no-code approach as a whole, and that's #1 objective of the platforms like Bubble - to cross that chasm successfully.
Partnering up with big players like Flippa on that mission is an absolute win-win for everyone involved.

We have been following closely the no-code trend and were amazed by the pace at which it was developing and growing. It became obvious that the no-code tends to be the choice for many startup founders who had brilliant ideas but didn't have a technical background or enough funding to get the project moving. The no-code eliminates the code barrier and allows virtually anyone to bring their ideas to life much simpler and at a fraction of time/cost compared to traditional development. 📮

This is interesting, having worked at Flippa myself this is comes at just the perfect time while similar no-code development studios are claiming their proprietary market share. It's smart for you guys to come in now and use your loyal audience to launch something like this. 🙂 Good job!
