Meet Surf Starter Sets

We’re excited to introduce Surf Starter Sets, a streamlined experience for creating and discovering custom feeds within our app.

Starter Sets offer hundreds of recommended sources to jumpstart your feed building. They’re organized around popular categories and pre-populated with some of our favorite sources from across the social web and Surf itself.

For example, the Tech Starter Set suggests top YouTube channels, podcasts, and custom feeds from people like #1 Hunter@chrismessina, @benwerd and dozens others.

To use a Starter Set to kickstart your feed, tap on “Create a Feed” and pick a category. Or, start with Custom if you need no inspiration and just want to get building. You can also publish your feed to Bluesky.
