With the air traffic controller staffing shortages and equipment failure on airplanes, delays are becoming increasingly common and frustrating.
That's where Flighty 4.0 comes in — giving you a window into the cause of delays so you can change your plans and get ahead of everyone else.
It's been 5 years since Flighty last launched on Product Hunt. Let's welcome them back!
Great example of how timing is key to product success. This is very true: " air traffic controller staffing shortages and equipment failure on airplanes, delays are becoming increasingly common and frustrating."
I also find most airlines/airports just leave you in the dark, so love this concept
I love Flighty — I have had it for a year (and need to resubscribe) and have found it very helpful. Especially when traveling to and from the UK last year. It's often faster than the core airline's app to update you on changes, delays and so forth.
Plus, being able to share a journey with family is great because my grandparents and mother-in-law always want to know my exact flight information so they can track my status.
If you haven't tried this yet, do it! It's cost is low for what they provide and is very helpful for anyone who travels more than a couple times a year!
At first my question was, what am I going to do differently with information my flight is delayed? The flight could still depart on time so I have to show up at the original time anyway (missed a flight this way before -- 3 hour delay until they found a new plane and it took off on time). But you answered that in a sentence I somehow missed, potentially change my plans. Do you help with changing plans at all in the product?
Congratulations on the launch! This product will make it so much more easier to keep track of our flights and for our loved ones as well. Looking forward to trying it out! Is this available on both Android and IOS?
congrats on the launch
this is a very good initiative!
Am new here, just started my journey with product hunt.
still trying to find my way through the app.
Any suggestions.
