Fitmeal: (interpreted it as just a turkey sandwich)
1 - It understood clif bar but not larabar ? Why the need to interpret proper foods or supplements? Seems like a waste of effort.
2 - a service that can't register everything I eat is basically worthless - it's already a pain to track what you eat, let alone to send multiple messages cause your spelling might be wrong
3 - the clif bar that it did register didn't offer anymore information when viewing the report so... again - who cares what I enter so long as when viewing the report, I understand what I ate.
@mario_a_giambanco Georges here, maker of Fitmeal. Fair points, Mario. The goal to “interpret proper foods” is specifically to be able to “offer [more] information when viewing the report.” For now, it's food groups, but it could eventually go way beyond that. Your 2nd point is well taken—maybe it should keep track of everything, even things it doesn't understand. As for Clif Bar v. LÄRABAR, it's just a matter of time before the database catches up with those less common items. Thanks for trying Fitmeal, and for your comments!
