👋 Hello hunters! I’m Luigi, Marketing & Communication Manager at Fing. Today, I’m excited to share with you the launch of Fing Desktop 3.2, a true milestone for our network management app. Curious to know what’s this about? ❓ ”How can I block network intruders?” or “How can I manage who has access to my Wi-Fi?” are only some of the many questions on the topic we received over the years. Well, we decided to listen to our users and we are finally launching the new version of Fing Desktop, which will allow you to: 🛑 Permanently block devices. You can use this if you have bandwidth stealing problem or if you see an unknown device on your network ⏸️ Temporarily pause internet access for specific devices or users. You can use this if you need to suspend internet for some reason (any parents trying to limit screen time for their children around here?) 🌐 In addition, Fing Desktop gives you high-end device recognition, with plenty of details about every device connected to your Wi-Fi. You can also run internet speed tests and compare ISPs, scheduling multiple speed tests per day. Moreover, Fing gives you access to a wide range of professional-grade IT tools to troubleshoot your network. We also have a mobile app, to bring the power of Fing wherever you want. 💥 The Block & Pause feature is only available for Premium users. Fing Premium gives you complete network protection and advanced security features. To celebrate the release, we are running a limited-time promo for new subscribers. Simply download the app and you’ll receive a message with all the info to redeem the discount! 🖥️ Wanna know more about the Block & Pause features? We wrote a detailed blog post with all the information you might need: https://www.fing.com/news/new-bl...

@luigi_calisi Congrats on launching Fing Desktop 3.2 ! Connection security is easy to overlook. Do you have a release for openwrt?
Luigi Calisi
@oe_zheng thank you! We are fully committed to network security! Fing Desktop is not available for openwrt at the moment (it only runs on Windwos and Mac)

Congrats on the launch. This is definitely useful. I have a lot of freebees trying to get into my wifi at home, I'll try this to block them
