Introducing Fillout Workflows ⚡️ Our first step beyond the form
Why I'm excited:
1) Workflows is purpose built for forms & scheduling.
2) It ships with a brand new email editor for simple yet custom email automations.
3) The AI use cases are really powerful. We're already using three internally!
Workflows can trigger on:
✅ Form submitted
🛒 Form abandoned
📆 Scheduling event canceled
🔄 Event rescheduled
⏳ Before event starts (reminder emails)
And they can:
🤖 Run AI actions (Summarize, Classify, Generate, Extract)
⏱️ Delay ("wait 4 hours")
📪 Send custom emails
🔍 Filter (branching coming soon)
💬 Send Slack/Teams/Discord messages
🔗 Send webhooks
⚡️ Connect to Zapier (coming soon)
We're in beta starting today, with no per automation charges (and yes, Fillout foots the OpenAI bill 😁).
Let me know what you think and how we can improve it!
This is some serious productivity magic, @dominicwhyte! 🎩 The ability to integrate AI with form submissions sounds like a game-changer for teams. I mean, the workflow triggers are super slick! Can't wait to automate all the tedious tasks and have more time to focus on the fun stuff. Already imagining the possibilities with Slack messages and custom emails. Excited to see how this evolves beyond beta and delivers some serious ROI! Let's go!
This looks really promising, @dominicwhyte! The ability to automate workflows based on form submissions and scheduling seems like it could save a ton of time.
This looks amazing, @dominicwhyte! Excited to see how Fillout Workflows can enhance productivity. The AI features sound powerful for automation. Can’t wait to check it out! 🚀
Hey Dominic,
Could you share more about how the AI summarization works? For instance, how well does it handle long-form responses?
Congrats on the launch!
Wow, @dominicwhyte, Fillout Workflows sounds like a total game changer! 🚀 I love the mixture of simplicity and powerful AI functionalities. The ability to automate custom email triggers means no more missed follow-ups! Just waiting for that magic hour delay feature to kick in for my reminders! Can’t believe it’s free during beta. Excited to see where this goes—upvoting for sure!
This is an impressive launch, @dominicwhyte! The potential of Workflows to automate form processing is a game changer, especially with AI integration. The pre-built automations will definitely save teams a lot of time. I love the idea of sending custom emails and using AI for summarization. Can’t wait to explore the branching feature in the future! Upvoted for sure—excited to see where Fillout goes from here. 🚀
I am SO excited for this! One of my biggest painpoints with other tools is having to do so much manual followups after a form submissions, e.g. send a followup email. The AI features are killer here
This sounds like a game-changer, @dominicwhyte! ⚡️ Workflows looks super powerful, especially with the AI features. Can’t wait to see how it can boost productivity. Excited for the branching and Zapier integration too—those will definitely take automation to the next level! Upvote!
Great job on the launch, the AI integrations sound super useful and time-saving, how about adding more messenger options besides Slack/Teams/Discord in the future?
So we're just supposed to trust AI with our important forms and scheduling, seems like a recipe for chaos, already dreading the day when an email mix-up sets everything on fire, not buying into the hype at all 😬
Well this seems like overkill for just forms and scheduling, do people really need AI to summarize form submissions or send reminder emails, how about making something simple that just works reliably instead of adding all these bells and whistles, will this actually help people be more productive or just confuse them with too many options?
I just stumbled upon this through some ads, looks decent and all but what's the catch with no charges for automation, are you planning to add hidden fees later, also the AI stuff sounds cool but how reliable is it really
Saw this while browsing, looks kinda cool but isn't relying on AI a bit risky, like what if it gets something wrong especially with important work stuff, how do you handle those errors?
I gotta say, I'm pretty pumped about this release, it's got some super handy features especially with the AI actions and custom email automations, the fact that it's free during beta is an awesome bonus, kudos to the founder for stepping up and covering the OpenAI costs, but I think more branching options sooner would be amazing, anyone else agree?
Alright, sounds cool but how reliable is the AI when it summarizes or classifies stuff, also, any plans on reducing dependency on Zapier or will it always be a must?
