Fey is a powerful, ad-free market research tool with real-time market data, smart watchlists, AI-driven insights, and advanced screening. It's beautifully designed for anyone seeking affordability and simplicity without compromise.
Hi everyone! 👋🏻
I’m T, one of the makers of Fey.
Fey was born out of our frustration with financial research tools that were either too expensive (looking at you, Bloomberg), riddled with ads or terribly designed. We wanted something elegant, intuitive, and powerful—a tool that values both form and function. When we couldn’t find it, we decided to build it ourselves.
We started quietly, taking the time to understand the pain points of self-directed investors. After interviewing over a thousand users, we saw a clear pattern: fragmentation. Investors were juggling multiple tools and platforms just to find the right company to invest. From ad-heavy finance sites to outdated broker dashboards, the process was exhausting and inefficient.
Fey simplifies this chaos. Whether you’re tracking your portfolio, researching opportunities, or analyzing performance, Fey empowers you to do it all in one place—with joy. Today our mission is simple: to help you make better investment decisions.
Since launching, we’ve been humbled by the feedback from our customers, who’ve told us that Fey has transformed how they approach investing. Knowing that we’re solving a real problem keeps us motivated to keep iterating.
Coming soon: Broker integrations, a mobile app, and even more tools to make investing effortless.
Huge thanks to @chrismessina for helping us share Fey with the world today!
Your support means everything to us—thank you! 🖤
@chrismessina@tcosta Wow, I had come across Fey before and was already impressed by how elegant and intuitive it is! Reading this, I’m even more inspired knowing the thought and care that went into solving such a real problem for investors. Huge respect for you and the team—it’s clear that Fey is a game-changer in financial tools. Can’t wait to see what’s next with the broker integrations and mobile app!
@chrismessina@sara_sayyad Thank you so much, Sara! We're excited about what's next, and broker integration should be coming very soon. We're aiming for the end of winter 😁
congrats on the launch.. I am a bit into investing and I am curious if you have profiles of big investors or maybe the ones that are smaller, but which I can follow for the investing advices or to see the investment decisions they want to share on your platform?
@viorica_vanica Appreciate the question — we’ve been super thoughtful to stay away from the “social copy trading” style features, as we found our customers love that Fey reduces noise and distraction. Fey is investing first, not trading.
That said, as we’ve had more and more sophisticated folks join and become power users, we’ve noticed they want more tooling.
Examples:
- Rather than exporting to a blog manually, they’d prefer to create that in Fey.
- Financial advisors use Fey and often present that information to clients; we could help a lot there.
So in that sense, it’s something we’re considering, to make our customers’ lives even easier, and I could see that being used for individual investors to also share their research - we just want to do it in a super thoughtful way 😇
Absolutely love what @tcosta and the team have built in Fey 2.0. What a gorgeous way to invest.
This is how you'd hope financial software would look and feel in 2025. 😍
Thiago - The experience your team has created is truly exceptional! It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into making Fey. Planning to feature it in my weekly Artisan Apps newsletter at https://artisan-apps.beehiiv.com/
as i normie index fund investor i try to look at charts as infrequently as possible. that said, I must commend you on both really sleek design and concise pricing. I appreciate this! I'm sure there is a solid addressable market for you and I hope you capture much of it :)
@catt_marroll Thank you for those kind words! 🙏 Definitely feel you on the "check charts less often" approach - that's a healthy mindset for many folks, myself included.
I will say Fey is for those who want clarity without getting sucked into the usual investing noise/anxiety, and so it’s still worth a trial to see if it fits with you. I especially find our news feed resonates a lot even with committed index investors.
@tjr a compelling case.
Maybe the feed will be interesting as a general “keeping up with the world” news source. I’ll check it out. Have a great day and that’s for the reply!
Amazing work team, you all continue to inspire with your craft. I know how hard it is to make charts look halfway decent and yours are just so dang beautiful.
One of the most beautiful products in the entire financial industry - pure work of art ✨
I highly recommend this to all my friends when they start their investing journey.
Huge congrats to all of you! Super exciting! It's totally evident, all the hard work you guys put into Fey! Always blown away by what you guys are shipping! 💪
Who doesn't love keeping track of their stocks etc.
I always happen to be keeping an eye on them & you're right, I don't want to be distracted but rather objective with what I'm trying to achieve!!
I love the no ads, that's a huge draw - I look forward to simplifying the chaos!!
Best of luck to the team, Thiago, Dennis & Thomas!!
