Hey Product Hunt!
Today we’re excited for you to check out Feathery.
While working as a growth engineer at Robinhood, I ran into problems with the way core flows like signup and onboarding are built and optimized.
Typically, PMs and designers coordinate with developers to handcraft complex forms piece-by-piece. Any change, such as rearranging steps or adding content, can take up to weeks to implement.
A tool like Typeform or Google Forms isn’t nearly powerful enough for these types of forms, so to solve this problem, I built Feathery.
Feathery is a low-code tool for building customizable, developer-friendly forms.

Today, we’re enabling product teams in verticals like SaaS, fintech, and healthcare to build powerful forms on a platform that provides:
✔️ 2D Webflow-like visual editor
✔️ Custom navigation, validation rules, and calculations
✔️ Open-source React and JS embed SDKs
✔️ Powerful integrations like Firebase, Stytch, and Plaid
Last month, we successfully launched publicly and 150+ companies have joined the platform since. Read more about our launch here: https://feathery.io/blog/announcing-feathery
If you’re looking for a better way to build key forms, we invite you to check out the platform and let us know what you think!
Best,
Peter
@bodun Congrats on your launch. Really loved the concept. Product teams must be benefited and save their time by building key forms easily. Will give it a try ASAP. Thanks for all the pre-built templates & important integrations.
@rrhoover Thanks Ryan!
Typeform restricts the user to
- 1 question per step
- No control over layout, limited control over styles
- No custom validation rules, calculations, and limited navigation control
- No auth integrations, no plaid / fintech integrations, limited payment integration (Stripe)
- Limited embed library that doesn't allow lifecycle callback functions (onsubmit, onload, etc.), custom styles or components
- No design system support (Themes in Feathery)
We also wrote about this topic more extensively on our blog! https://www.feathery.io/blog/fea...
@bodun@rrhoover as a designer, Typeform is awesome because they offer constrained quality layouts & simple designs to choose from. Feathery takes it a step further by offering simple templates AND allowing full creative control to easily craft a unique experience that fits your user's needs.
I've been using Feathery for a while now and it has become my default form builder for everything. The product's combination of ease of use, extensibility, integrations and flexibility on where I use my form (i.e. hosted on Feathery or embedded in my own product) makes Feathery the only feasible choice when it comes to creating and maintaining forms. Excited to see them launch!
@shortcipher thank you for the feedback, Chris! The space is certainly growing, although many form builders still only cater to simple use cases like questionnaires, RSVP forms, and feedback surveys. We'd love to be the go-to platform for product teams with more advanced use cases—the types that usually developers are relied on to build—like signup, onboarding, and applications. So far, our offering seems to be well received!
This looks very useful and powerful! I'm sure this would be helpful for product teams for communicating with developers.
Great job! Congratulations on the launch! 🚀
@zara34 thanks, Florence! While anyone can use Feathery to build awesome forms, we'd love to focus in on supporting product teams with advanced use cases, especially those in the fintech, insurance, and healthcare verticals. In terms of what's next, here is a preview of what our team is working on:
- Custom validation rules and messages
- Calculations and field aggregation operators
- Reusable layout components (headers, footers, etc.)
- Advanced analytics and experimentation support
- Typescript, Angular, and Vue library support
Let me know if that answers your questions, as well as if I can answer any others!
Incredibly nice job, Peter! Congrats on the launch! 🚀
When we implement a combination flow of waiting list, VIP code, signup, and onboarding, it was a chaos. So I'm curious if Feathery can handle this kind of complex flow. And adding a waiting list template would be nice :)
