@blaurenceclark @mademan468 We already have a text to install on our landing page, but that's a pretty cool tool for developers that might not want to hassle with building it themselves. Good job. Let me now what you think of the app.
There was once a time when I supported the New York Knicks, but my psychiatrist recommended that I stop supporting them if I want to live past 30. But when I did support them I used the ESPN app for this? . . . . Their settings used to allow me to tailor my notifications for each team, player, score, etc . . . . . How does fancy differ?
And also you require Facebook and Twitter log in, is this for UX, meaning are there social components here that allow users to engage with each other or is the FB and Twitter a growth strategy to get your links and name on those platforms?
@blastchatbleez Hey thanks! Yea we're adding all of that stuff in this next build based on the feedback. We wanted to start with plenty of content first and make the app was as engaging as possible. The social strategy is really to make sure that you are connected to your teams. We're working directly with teams to make sure that you and the team are connected. Teams will reward you with free tickets, gear, etc. The social aspect is being layered on top of the new component.
We are adding Google Plus this week as well.

Another idea.. though not sure how this could work legally speaking, but maybe add point spreads to the scoreboard feature? That adds a nice wrinkle for a lot of sports fans. Obviously not a HUGE deal, just a cool little bell and whistle.
All in all though.. excellent app. Can't wait to see the upcoming builds!
@realfauxmadden HAHA. A gambler. Now we're talking. We have some cool stuff coming out that is going to allow gamblers to check the spread and see who covered. We're going to add it as part of the scoreboard and then we're also going to do a little game every day where fans can pick games against the spread. if you hit 100% we'll give you free tickets to a game or $300 for merchandise from Fanatics.com.
Next build is almost ready. Hopefully by end of the week.
If you have product features added or have questions about the service, please feel free to ask. We're doing GREAT, but we also want to make sure that we get the feedback we need to keep improving the app for sports fans! A little work from us can save fans a ton of time. Ok so, I just downloaded Fanly and spend about 15 mins setting up my teams and browsing their feeds. I have to say I am extremely impressed with the simplicity of the app and the beautiful layout that many others have already mentioned.
I'm a huge sports fan and currently have multiple Apps and websites bookmarked on my phone just to try and keep up with all of my favorite teams. Sometimes it gets overwhelming trying to stay up to date with so many sources. It's great to see someone finally had the idea to gather all the best sources and organize their articles by teams.
This App is amazing but still missing a couple key things if its going to be the only sports app on my phone. First, and I think others will agree, live scores and in game updates are an absolute must. Second, I would like to see more sports featured (Golf, Tennis, EPL, Motorsports, MMA). The third and final thing is a league-wide news stream for each league so you can see league news as well as news about your favorite teams.
I really love the app and will continue to check in and update it. I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with next!
@tmft2291 Hey! Awesome feedback and thanks! We're adding more sports as we speak and have some good partnerships in the pipeline. Scores as I said are coming for sure. League news is another popular thing people want with their teams and we've figured out how to get it. It's currently on the next build for the major sports leagues like MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL. We're working to get the other sports live as well, so we'll get back to MLS and college cause that's more difficult!

Love the layout and design! Aesthetically this thing is beautiful, and makes it easy to search for an article you want to read about your favorite team even in the dead of the offseason.
Would love to see the app offer scoreboards, daily fantasy game tracking, maybe even the ability to track certain players instead of teams (i.e. if you're a LeBron fan, but not necessarily a Cavs fan or NBA fan).
This app is a must download for any sports fan though.. definitely a lot of promise with it!
@realfauxmadden Hey! Thanks for the feedback on the design! Keeping it simple is the key and we're definitely adding the Scores in the next build. Fantasy tracking is going to be added once we have critical mass, but I think we'll have a way to let you keep track of specific players.
