I do have a concern about privacy though. What if I dont want to share some of this data with my manager?
@iskandarchacra Hi Iskandar, thats a great question, we're coming to the conclusion that most of the employees would like to keep that data to themself; we have a privacy option in the setting.
But besides that- we're analyzing only public channels. Your manager could check those messages without our bot.
Empy is the result of months of dedicated work alongside a team of highly skilled individuals. I couldn't be more excited about its launch and the possibilities it holds for the future. Congrats team!
Congrats on the launch Aram! I love the playful web design and am surprised by the team's expertise behind Empy! I often see people suddenly quit a company or gradually become less effective, probably because of well-being issues. I think Empy will be a great tool for companies to identify what is going on behind those issues and improve employer brands.

I like the idea. Just a quick question does it evaluate the entire Slack channel and direct messages as well? If yes, how safe is the data?

So when choosing a Slack channel, consider these tips:

Ensure all team members are in the channel.
๐ก Opt for an active engagement channel.
โ Steer clear of channels with confidential info.

Great idea! Would love to see some NLP dedicated to analyze 1:1s with supervisors, managers, etc. Some important topics are not discussed via Slack or chats, and many times you may hear toxic tone of voice during calls.
@arshakyan_armen Thank you. Yes, you are absolutely right. Unfortunately the 1:1s are almost done offline, but if they are taken over Zoom, soon we will have Zoom integration too and we'll be able to cover those too!

Empy is capable right now of defining evaluations/observations in your messages and defining your emotional wellbeing. In the future, we will combine those metrics to give tips and label your communication style.
For now, it's primarily for burnout prevention & conflict resolution.
