Pretty sweet! I went searching for something like this awhile back (for times when I'm not on my Mac) but didn't have much luck finding anything that wasn't pretty sloppily made. This feels really solid.
I wondered why OS X (and iOS for that matter) don't have a search built into the emoji keyboard. Seems like a no-brainer. Glad there's an alternative now.
As an emoji pro πI just hit ctrl+cmd+space bar on my Mac to get my emoji game going strong πͺ
However, we are not all emoji-ly talented. Some people I know keep a tab open with all the emoji's to copy and paste πI won't name names, @jacqvon
Now you can use this extension instead! π―
@rick_moby@bentossell Like Ben I always used the mac shortcut, but I like that this has a nice search, seems to work better too. I will certainly be trying this out for a while π
I have to say: Finally!
It's frustrating to use emojis on desktop, I was used to search on google and then copy to whatever I was writing, too much work. But now I have Emojione, making my job easier.
Thanks β
