END lukewarm coffee! I'd love one but $79.99 is pricey for a mug.

@rrhoover When it's the Apple of Mugs...Towering prices are just expected.

@rrhoover With this mug, you can enjoy hot coffee all day. I think its availability at Starbucks and made from ceramic can justify its price.

Wow, great job on getting that deal in place!

At 12oz and 10oz respectively, the travel mug and ceramic cup are too small to be useful for me. I suppose I could keep my hot cocoa in a large thermos and then transfer it to the ceramic mug when I am ready to drink another cup, but I don't really want to deal with transferring hot cocoa from one vessel to another and the mess that makes. The travel mug is simply too small, period. When I'm traveling, I don't have the ability to fill up the mug from a larger thermos once the mug is empty. I'd begin viewing the travel mug as useful once it reaches a 24oz capacity.

I love my coffee, but not that much. $79?

Is the charging system proprietary?

I like and'd buy, but too pricey for me.

You will win me over when you do something similar with an expresso in a ceramic (china) cup. I always have an fresh ground beans expresso lungo within reach and I tend to forget about it while I work. As everyone should know a cold expresso sucks if it’s not on the rocks (freezing cold) to begin with and it can't be reheated after the fact because it'll make suck even more. Thus since I hate throwing an otherwise perfectly good expresso, I end repurposing a cuple of them and making ad-hoc on the rocks in the middle of winter - not a perfect solution but a hack while I wait for Elon Musk to get addicted.

I'd love this - but they don't give a battery life for the ceramic mug.
Israel Vicars
@andreasduess There’s an FAQ on the product pages: “The Ember Travel Mug was designed to last for two, one hour drinking cycles giving it an average battery life of approximately two hours.”

You know it's 'something' when it says 'available at starbucks'

A Starbucks coffee cup is a symbol for many. So Ember really takes this to the next level. Nice play with the gold lid.

Thanks for this really helphul product!

Pros:

It'll be great to try to use it. I face this problem when I want to drink something hot every day. I am sure everyone agrees with me.

Cons:

Does this mug have specific conditions of care, for example not to wash in a dishwasher? If it doesn't have - there are no cons.
