This tool is great, but expensive. I wish it could do more. This may be a great $10 app, not the best $10 monthly subscription. It needs separate payment for use of Open AI API. I hope the founder can develop it more actively and add more functionality.

@newkidtim1 Hey NK, I appreciate your feedback. It does require OpenAI payment, we might remove that dependency soon. At the same time, the current pricing model requires one to pay OpenAI only for what they use. I have been paying only a few dollars every month for my usage (I use it daily).

@newkidtim1 @kambanthemaker I just have to add a comment here. This tool is very cheap for what it does. It has saved me so many hours. I don't understand how anyone could consider this tool expensive.
@newkidtim1 I paid for the lifetime subscripton and just use my OpenAI account. I use it a couple times daily and its been very cheap. The one time cost of a little over a hundred kind of hurts, but compared to other tools this has been an excellent value for what it offers.

@newkidtim1 I disagree. This tool is ridiculously affordable compared to other tools in the market. Instead of paying someone else per month, I pay directly to open AI for the exact words that I use and buy the tool for lifetime.

I started using GPT-3 in 2021 and was amazed by its potential. But only a few people realize the full potential of it. I reviewed many AI tools, and most of them require us to switch to a different interface and copy-paste the results. Think of Elephas as a tool that lies between Grammarly and JasperAI. Already, 150+ professionals use Elephas daily, and their feedback has been extremely positive. You can write new content, such as emails, blogs, and documents, rewrite your content in different styles, and use Elephas as a personal assistant to augment your writing. All right in your favorite Mac applications. That’s not all. Elephas has many utility features, including, - Repurposing content for social media - Fixing grammar mistakes - Generating Google Sheets/Excel formulas from instructions - Write headlines that convert - Create a Keynote presentation from a title - Understand any technical code - Turn your instruction into a Terminal command The 4.x version in the pipeline will add a lot more capabilities, including Mac Spotlight integration. I'm really enjoying the application so far! I'm still testing it out, but it looks like it could be really beneficial. The one thing I found annoying was that you don't know when an application is opened in the top bar. I was restarting my laptop when I thought something was wrong :D Great job and keep pushing! 🚀

The interface is the magic here, no context switching just a few keystrokes and you are rolling with new content variants. Founder has been extremely helpful and open to feedback. The UI is simple, the app is functional not fancy. Right up my alley. Thanks Kamban!

Great concept, but bad business model... We must pay fees to OpenIA - depending on daily usage - in addition to subscription !

@ban_abuse Sorry about that. I have given a caculation, it must be only a few dollars per month for average use cases. In other words, your total cost per month will not exceed $10 while some of the others AI tools are way more costlier. But, we may eventually remove the OpenAI account dependency.

I love Elephas. I use it daily. The price is great, and even though I use it every day my OpenAI costs haven't gone above $10/mo yet. I hit $9 last month, but that took a LOT of work.
