Great idea! Love it! Can you make selected part of the clip to be able to move left and right without having to move each side separately? Also, I think that it would be cool if you could add a logo or something alongside with those two buttons in top left corner of the videos that showed up after installing the extension?

@nenaddmc Hey Nedad! Thanks for the comment. Yes, you can. It's just a matter of clicking down on the selected area and dragging it around. Your comment about the logo made me smile. I had to fight a lot of people to keep it off so so branding wouldn't get in the way of usability. Yes, we're definitely open to doing that. Out of curiosity, is there anything you would like the logo to do in particular?

@danielmeng07 Well, somehow it didn't work for me, but I understand, it's still in Beta. Regarding the logo, I have installed the extension, but I didn't have any tutorial, so I wasn't expect to see these new buttons to appear on every video I play. So initially, I was confused until I have clicked one of the buttons and figured out what are those. :)

Hi guys! Dan here, one of the makers of Eclips. I was hoping to get some feedback on this thing we’ve been working on. The purpose of is to let people clip and save videos they find from anywhere on the web. For a while now, we've been seeing an increasing number of our friends are using videos to supplement their school and work notes. While the video tutorial might run for twenty minutes, the student might only need two. Whether it's serious research or adorable cat videos, we kept wondering if there's an easier way to save the content we love. It’s a dream of ours to eventually make "clipping" segments of videos as simple and as commonplace as dog-earring a page in a book. No more managing the half dozen playlists from myriads of hosts, or trying to remember what you saw where. Eclips safely organizes it all one place. Eclips is a community to exchange our new and exciting discoveries. Your feed is composed of clips curated by people you know so it's always pleasantly authentic. It’s also a fun way to get to meet new people. Think of it as a place to bounce around the best moments of the internet. Right now, you can clip videos from YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Vine, and Vimeo. We hope to eventually cover every moving pixel on the web. (Fb, Twitter, and Vine are available only through our extension) Love to hear what you guys think… Shoot me emails at dan@ecli.ps, happy chat :) Dan
