After all, a great cloud product that works well is awesome. But he got fed up with Dropbox. Why? Because there’s no privacy, no ownership of data with Dropbox. These providers store, handle, process your files. That means you’re not in control of your data. Greg, as many people do, wants to own his data. After looking for a long time, without success, for an alternative solution to Dropbox that offered him the same ease of use while not compromising his privacy, he got tired and started to develop the solution he wanted for himself. And as we started to notice a lot of people were interested in it, we decided to commercialize it. What is Duple? Duple is an app that gives you your own private cloud at home in one click. Store, Sync, Backup, Share and Access your files from anywhere. Private and simple. It’s plug and play. Just download the app on your devices, plug your USB key (any USB) to your internet router, and that's it! You've got your own private Dropbox at home. What makes Duple awesome? -It’s private: Your files are not stored on someone else’s data center, but on your storage. You own your data.
