Launching soon!

@rohan_singhvi1 Congrats on the launch! Would you consider this a vibe coding tool?

Paul Sobiecki
Launching soon!

Looks wonderful! Can I ask if it's like a local AI? Or is it a smart wrapper of AI that splits actions between local and server-side actions?

Congratulations on the launch! :)

Prakhar Tandon
@heypaus Hey Paul, Dualite Alpha saves all your chats locally in your browser storage only, the public version uses Claude & Gemini Models while we have an enterprise plan for organisation who need a custom model on-prem. Thanks!

@prakhar_tandon_1 Such a nice solution! Good luck, guys :)

Kevin McDonagh

This is really good and I'm happy for more competition in the Vibe IDE space. I tested it out with a prompt "a pong game branded in the style of disney" just to see how it interpretted the challenge, it did a really good job actually. It made a turn based version of pong! I couldn't figure out how to share the demo though which I think will be important to promotion. Heres a picture though.

Kevin McDonagh

Ah I'm daft, I can deploy with another account, I get it. That's really good but does involve a little more setup.

Prakhar Tandon
@kevin_mcdonagh1 Hey Kevin, you can deploy your projects via your Netlify Account. 1. Sign-up for Netlify at netlify.com 2. Come back to your project in Dualite Alpha. 3. Click "Deploy" on top right, connect your Netlify Account, and you'll receive a deployed link which you can share. Thanks!

@prakhar_tandon_1  @kevin_mcdonagh1 Woah, crazy results. It is playable, although it stutters, lags, or lacks realtime smooth movement.

Kevin McDonagh

@prakhar_tandon_1  @ashwani_khatri impressive considering it was one shotted.

Prakhar Tandon
@ashwani_khatri that too can be fixed with iterations

Dualite Alpha's local - first approach and seamless integration with Figma and GitHub are a dream come true for developers prioritizing data security and efficient workflows! For users who want to collaborate on app building projects with others, how does Dualite Alpha handle multi - user collaboration while keeping data local?

Launching soon!

Congrats on the launch.

Prakhar Tandon
@sourabh_upreti Thanks Sourabh!
Joey Zhu

How many different models can i choose locally in Dualite??

Prakhar Tandon
@joey_zhu_seopage_ai Hey Joey, Dualite automatically selects the best suited model for the task. Behind the scenes it works with Claude & Gemini Models with higher context. You can compare it with the "Max" mode in cursor.
Nitesh Kumar

I have been using Dualite Alpha for more almost a year now for quick wire-framing and prototyping our SaaS. @rohan_singhvi1 and team have always been open to feedback and extremely quick in deploying updates.
Really happy to see all those changes culminating in this launch. Best of Luck!

Prakhar Tandon
@nitesh_kumar76 Thanks Nitesh!
Nader Ikladious

Very cool concept with the local-first approach! 🔒 Keeping all data in the browser while still building AI apps is both privacy-friendly and developer-friendly — would love to give it a spin for rapid prototyping!

Prakhar Tandon
@naderikladious Sure! Let us know your feedback.

Germán Merlo

Wow Rohan! Building an app never was so easy. Happy to see this level of solution and wish you all the best here!

Dwija Patel

congratulations team!!

Gabriel Nasser
What is the difference between that and Lovable? Why should I have my data stored locally when building apps?
Prakhar Tandon
Hey @gabriel_nasser, the local-first thing gives you privacy and more control over your data. Lovable is good for simpler usecases, while we focus on doing complex tasks with minimal prompts. Thanks!
Van de Vouchy

Since all data and processing happen locally in the browser, how do you ensure good performance for users with different device capabilities?

Prakhar Tandon
Hey @vouchy, 8 GB Ram is good enough to run Alpha smoothly. The in-browser code environment, message processing & storage happens locally, while LLM workload is on the cloud. Thanks!
Abdul Rehman

Just tried out Dualite Alpha, and I honestly liked how smooth everything felt. The best part for me? Everything stays in the browser; no need to worry about where my stuff is going.

Importing my Figma design and syncing with GitHub was super easy. And the small touches, like auto-fixing bugs, actually saved me a lot of time (and stress). Excellent work, Rohan and team. Feels like something made by people who know the pain of building things from scratch.

Rachit Sharma

Really love what you’ve built here @rohan_singhvi1 @prakhar_tandon_1 ! The local-first approach is smart. Excited to try this out on a few projects!

Noah Martins
I built a whole fitness app with just 1 prompt. So cool!
Prakhar Tandon
@noahfromgoa That's great, do share the deployment link here too! Thanks!
Mike Staub

These claims of privacy are baseless unless the code is fully open source.

Prakhar Tandon
Hey @mikestaub, while I understand the context behind your opinions, and as an engineer support it too, but we're working on a couple of things simultaneously and we feel keeping Alpha closed source for now is the best way to go for us. "Local First" means that we're storing all your chats and data only on your browser. Moreover, for our enterprise customers, we provide an on-prem solution with a on-prem/cloud LLM on their infra. Do try it out and lmk your feedback. Thanks!
Igor Sorokin

I love that you support importing legacy codebases from GitHub. How smooth is the integration? Can I import a complex React project and start editing right away?

Prakhar Tandon
@igorsorokinua yes you can import any react/angular/vue codebase and start right away.
