• File Types and Sizes: DROP currently supports a wide range of file types, including images, videos, documents, and more (basically everything). The maximum file size for a single transfer for free user is 5GB, and can up to 2TB for Pro user.
• Security and Privacy: We take security and privacy very seriously. All files are encrypted during transfer (using TLS) and while stored on our servers (with AES-256 encryption). Additionally, we implement route-check mechanisms to ensure that shared files reach only the intended recipients.
• Long-Term Monetization Strategy: Our primary focus is on delivering value to our users. While we currently offer premium features through a subscription model, we are also exploring other monetization strategies that align with our commitment to privacy and user satisfaction.
Regarding your suggestions for improvement:
• Version Control: This is a feature we’re actively considering, especially for users working on collaborative projects. It’s great to know this aligns with your vision as well.
• Tool Integration: We agree that integrating with popular design and creative tools could significantly enhance the user experience. This is on our roadmap, and we’re excited to explore potential partnerships and integrations.
• File Usage Insights: Providing users with insights into file usage and behavior is an excellent idea.
The best experience for file sharing with full control. Simply drag and drop the files you want to share and define your own rules, whether you want your files to be public or password-protected.
You can even add a simple paywall; this is perfect for selling templates, ebooks, art, ...

@picsoung @elelebus001 We know that product as well, pls try DROP, you will find something different, e.g. new.space only allow 100 - 200MB per file, and we do not have this limitation
How is this different to apps like Dropbox? Also is your plan free to upload 2TB’s? If so, what 3rd party file store are you using to hold this many files?
Looks very exciting! One thing I would suggest—add a pricing page/table to indicate which features are available with/without registration and with free/paid plans.

DROP looks really neat! The design is sleek, even on mobile! Also it looks like you have a free tier without having to signup which is awesome and a great way to try the product.
How do you limit a user who doesn’t sign up to 2 GB?
It looks like a new space is created for the free user, but if I try to access that same space from a different browser it denies me access. Wondering how you control access like that. Is there a key or something that gets stored in local storage?
