Nostalgia sells. The Nintendo Classic Mini was a sell-out a few years ago. This will be a hit over the holidays.
Best part: It's preloaded with FF VII, one of my favorite childhood RPGs. 😮
@rrhoover I used to work on a 900 gameplay line where people would pay $1.50 per minute to have me tell them how to get Knights of the Round Table or beat the Emerald Weapon or breed a Golden Chocobo. I swear I used to be able to walk callers through the entire 60 hours of the game by memory at one point. Thankfully, that information has left my brain to make room for all of the cat memes.
I wonder whether it will be possible to add more games later on or whether the included games are basically all there is.
So they copy Nintendo, charge $20-30 more, have 10 less games, and don't provide an AC adapter? I mean I am all for nostalgia here, but there is way less value here than what Nintendo provided.
OK and why you do not lounch old classic games in Playstation Now? I am use Playstation Now and playing Old Playstation 3 games by uisng PC and Paystation Now program, so my question is wat is problem that you don't launch old Playstation 1 games in Playstation Now cloud services?
Damn this brings back memories. My first ever gaming console (yup not that old) and man was it amazing! This also shows the insane speed of technology. From multiple disks a game we now have 20 pre-loaded games in a tiny chassis. So tempting to buy!
This is my favorite gaming system of all time
Pros:Can't beat the classics
Cons:No new games
Worth the price just to get that classic Playstation intro animation and sound + Tekken 3 and FFVII!
Driver 2 for me. Many, many, many hours lost driving around Havana on "Take a Drive" mode.
@productpearson @owenfar1 I didn't realize you could get out of your car until late into the game. Once I found that out, everything got so much easier.
