With Drag Pro, you can also organize tasks, sales, marketing, projects and more, all inside your Inbox. It makes the day spent in your inbox sooooo much easier. Testing for 2 months already, downloaded in December. Despite the bugs, I can not stop using it, cause for now I can't imagine my inbox not being perfectly organized as it was before. I see product is definitely improving, so I believe the team will deal with all the bugs & conflicts with other extensions. Cause Drag helps me a lot. Thanks for the product.

Pros:

Super easy to manage inbox

Cons:

Slow loading, bugs with missing letters from different columns, conflict with other extensions

Nick Timms
Hey Alexandra, great to hear from you again! :) Hahah. Thanks for being so prompt with jumping in to explain your point of view on Drag. We have loaaaaddssss planned. Thanks for hanging in there. Also, seeing it through a lot of the load speed issues. We launched a significant update last week so good to catch up on that too!
Nick Timms

Hey everyone, Nick here from DragApp.com. The average person spends 6.3 hours per day in their email, yet email is not productive, not collaborative and not an all-in-one place to do the tasks you need to. Email is broken. šŸš€šŸš€ Drag turns Gmail into an organized inbox instantly. We're officially launching Drag Pro on Product Hunt today! šŸš€šŸš€ We have 31,000 users and some super-cool companies such as Uber, AirBnB, Spotify and Netflix to make their inbox awesome. Now it's time to share Drag Pro with everyone :) I'd love your feedback on Drag Pro. We've made it a more powerful experience where you can: Ā» Customize columns in your Drag board Ā» Drag ā€˜n drop between columns Ā» Add tasks to your inbox Ā» Checklists on emails Ā» Notes on emails Ā» Due dates on emails Ā» Unlimited boards Ā» Team boards (coming soon) We have a really active community also and here's our 12 month Product Roadmap: trello.com/b/41FGtlod/drag-public-roadmap We're here all day to answer questions so please let us know! Thanks Nick
Nick Timms
@surfy Hey Mark, completely agree. We're trying to make inboxes more efficient so less time is spent there. FYI, here's the US article suggesting these numbers: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/e...

I have used Drag earlier and it was very close to what I was looking for. But I could not use it as much as I wanted to limiting search capabilities (if I recall it right) and some usability issues. I am sure with Drag Pro some or most of these would have been taken care of. On a quick glimpse: - Boards and inviting boards sounds cool and promises to integrate Trello-esque workflows but lack of empathy level details makes look creepy. It does not explicitly answer what level of details the collaborator would see, can they look at all my emails? - Looks like Drag Pro is getting overwhelming response, it appears to be slow and did not auto refresh my inbox for new emails.
Duda Bardavid
@arpit23 haha you are right! Answering your questions, the idea of team boards is to share specific boards with your team! Only the emails (and tasks) you send to those shared boards will be seen (or edited/ replied) by your team-mates. You chose the emails/tasks to share. Can you check if you are using the version 4.0? We launched this version with a massive improvement on load speed! That might be the reason why your Drag is still a bit slow. Let me know! Thanks for the feedback :)
Nick Timms
@arpit23 I would love you to try again today to see how it compares: FYI - launched again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time. today).
Peter Banerjea

Extremely useful for anyone who spends a lot of time communicating outside the company - salespeople, support folks, PR people, procurement guys, etc. What I love most is the simplicity of it - which makes it very easy to get your people to adopt it!

Pros:

Don't have to leave your inbox. Especially helpful if email is your primary communication tool

Cons:

None so far

I love the idea Drag brings to the table. Iā€™ve used it for 3 months now and itā€™s quite addicting. I feel so much more productive, and honestly, Iā€™m really looking forward for their next update.

Pros:

Incredibly simple to use and looks great

Cons:

Still needs improvement in sone functionalitIes.

Duda Bardavid
Hey Jose, really appreciate the feedback! Great to hear thatā€™s been addictive, it is for us as well haha our next big release will be team boards, coming soon šŸ‘ŠšŸ»
Emily Sheldon

Have really been enjoying Drag so far. Absolutely love task management systems and this allows me to align everything in my inbox. I still use Asana, but have transitioned to using it for bigger overall strategy planning - while day-to-day tasks get managed through Drag. Keeps my inbox and my Asana much cleaner.

Pros:

Good user experience, clean and simple, great customer service

Cons:

Can be a bit slow at times

Duda Bardavid
Hey Emily, love your Pros! These are key traces that are proud of in Drag :) Interesting to hear as well how Drag may work well with Asana! Would you like an integration between both? ;)
Duda Bardavid
@emily_sheldon we are on Product Hunt today again, launching our new, revamped design along with a flat pricing for unlimited users! We're #5 of the day at the moment, would love to hear your feedback :)
Duda Bardavid
@emily_sheldon bear with us! Itā€™s coming :)
Rimas Julius Taminskas

A great tool to help you stay organized and see the things you need to prioritize. Recommended!

Pros:

Great organization of emails, convenient interface, quite fast

Cons:

Sometimes you need to reload the browser to get newest emails

Nick Timms
Hey Rimas, thanks so much. Yes, we've just implemented Node.js to speed up load time, however a few additional steps to take to make 'absolutely' real-time. Bear with us, about two weeks away from pushing our next version update on this! šŸš€
Nick Timms
Hey Rimas, 4.0.1 fix pushed live today. Please check :) (Bug fixes)
Duda Bardavid
@polit0l0gas we are on Product Hunt today again, launching our new, revamped design along with a flat pricing for unlimited users! We're #5 of the day at the moment, would love to hear your feedback :)
Dimitris Mytilinaios

A nice way to keep track of your tasks that arrive to your email.

Pros:

Simple and intuitive interface.

Cons:

It misses a good multi-email selection feature.

Duda Bardavid
Hey Dimitris, thanks for the feedback! We have been making a big effort to keep Drag simple and intuitive in fact. Would love to hear more about the multi-email selection feature you suggested! Do you mean drag'n'drop multiple emails at once? Thank you!
Rafael Rodrigues
Hello Dimitris, you can select and Drag Multiple Emails using our D-Button, like in the image below: Thanks :) .
David Mondok
Love the idea but does Drag work without giving the extension permissions to read my emails or do you require full access?
Duda Bardavid
Hey @davidm Drag needs these permissions to be able to organize your Emails into a different layout. But don't worry, these permissions are not any different from several tools out there (try to download a sample of email tools) and we are super-safe! You can read everything about this topic here: https://www.dragapp.com/help/sec... Hope it helps!
Bassil Ouais
@davidm @dudabardavid so by accepting the "read " permission, you will be able to collect only the emails subject and header ONLY? and what about the contents of the emails?
Duda Bardavid
@davidm @bassilouais we do not handle the email content, this is done through Google's OAuth. When you click on an email for example, we call on OAuth to grab and display the email body. Hope this helps :)
Panagiotis Vartalas

I use the app almost 6 months now and I find it as a really great idea to offer all this functionality directly into the inbox. It faces some small bugs now and then but the whole Drag team offers great support, quick fixes and always tries to find ways to involve the users into their future designs.

Pros:

great idea, clean design, flexibility

Cons:

small bugs, some times conflicts with other extensions

Duda Bardavid
Hey Panagiotis, thanks for the review! So glad to hear that you have been with us since early days and are happy with our support, this a big deal for us :) We are killing small bugs every day, and even compatibility with other extensions has been evolving fast: our latest version 4.0 works with many more extensions! Is there any specific conflict we would like us to tackle? Thanks!
Shalynn Marie

I brought Drag up with my boss and he tried it out and LOVED it! Bonus points for me. Thanks Drag! haha I'm new to the extension but so far im finding it easy to use, clean , and helpful!

Pros:

Great way to manage workflow without having to leave your inbox in lieu of multiple other systems

Cons:

Unpaid version is limited

Duda Bardavid
Hey Shalynn, glad to hear that you share our vision to never leave your inbox! And even better to hear that Drag is helping you with a promotion haha let us know when official :)
Nick Timms
Hey Shalynn, is your boss still loving it? FYI - launched again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time).
Shelly Roddy
Cool product
Duda Bardavid
Thanks @shellyroddy1 ! Let us know any feature request, new ideas, suggestions or bugs in our public roadmap: https://trello.com/b/41FGtlod/dr...
Abbas Jaffar Ali
@shellyroddy1 @dudabardavid Made me chuckle that you're trying to replace Trello with your own product and yet for the roadmap, you're using Trello. I understand that you can't give public access to your Gmail account- but it made me smile. Anyways- how is this handled on mobiles? Do you have apps that sync? Also, is this Chrome only or can it be used with Safari on Mac?
Duda Bardavid
@shellyroddy1 @ajaffarali it makes sense haha we love Trello, we don't want to replace them. We want to complement them :) By the way, mobile is being developed, not yet live but will be soon! Same for integrations with other apps! And same for other browsers haha we have soooo much to come yet, and you got the major ones ;)
Nick Timms
@shellyroddy1 Still using the Cool Product? :) Live again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time. today).
Igor Santos

Drag allowed me to do something a thought was impossible: It helped me to keep my mailbox organized. Very useful for lazy people as me!

Pros:

Helps keep track of my daily emails

Cons:

it doesn't work on touchable screens

Nick Timms
Hey Igor, thanks so much. Great to hear there are currently no negatives. FYI here's our Product Roadmap. We love to receive feedback from all users so it's really an open place to do that: trello.com/b/41FGtlod/drag-public-roadmap
Manuel Kraus
That's a brilliant solution, I've been using a hack for years which gave me this kind of functionality. Great job guys!
Nick Timms
@manuel_kraus thank you! What was the hack? a quick Gmail multiple inbox/label solution?
Nick Timms
@manuel_kraus how's the hack working for you? FYI - launched again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time. today).
Vassos Kassianides

Would definitely recommend it.

Pros:

It helps me organise my gmail and tasks

Cons:

Not as I expected on touch screens

Nick Timms
Hey Vassos, awesome. Touch screen is a whole another level! Love to catch up and explore what you're experiencing on these devices (after the marathon PH day!). Thanks for review again. Nick
Allen Krasna

helps with the quandry between using your gmail for your Todo's or an external tool

Pros:

Helps with the question of if I should be managing from a Todo Application or from mail.

Cons:

Still in early stage and more room to grow

Duda Bardavid
Hey Allen, thank you so much for the review! I'm so curious now, what is your final decision on whether you should be using To Do applications or Drag? haha :)
Mowd Chen

I'm a very early Dragster, it's nice to watch Drag grows and making much more improvement since then. Looking forward to see Drag getting better.

Pros:

Bring gmail to a new level as a GTD tool.

Cons:

Poor support for double byte characters language like Chinese.

Duda Bardavid
Hey Mowd, you will always be a special user, with us since the early beginning :) Thank you for the support throughout our journey. Tell me, are you achieving GTD successfully with Drag? Love to hear how we can improve even further!
Ieva Saliņa

Thank you for this product. Really helps me to manage my inbox, tasks, it helps to keep track of daily things - what is done, has to be done.

Pros:

Really helpful to organize my inbox and tasks

Cons:

All is good

Duda Bardavid
Hey Ieva, so nice to hear! As a Marketing manager, you can manage your whole marketing activities, in a dedicated board, directly from your Inbox! How you tried it? Can you imagine when you can even collaborate to manage and delegate tasks to your team? We are looking so forward to it! Love to hear your thoughts :)
Dan Segal

I've been searching for a task management app to integrate with gmail. Was content with Sortd and just began testing Drag. While Sortd seems to be ahead of Drag with some features, Drag looks simpler and it keeps you within gmail. I'm looking forward for improvements such as support of alphabets other than Roman and integration with google apps such as Calendar and Keep

Pros:

easy to use, clean design, stays within the gmail environment

Cons:

does not support alphabets other than Roman, bugs with assigning old messages to columns

Duda Bardavid
Hey Dan, we love to hear that Drag is simple! We aim to keep it simple, always! That's also the reason why we built it completely integrated to Gmail, instead of forcing a whole new interface to your day-to-day. About improvements, these ones are coming soon, mainly integration with Google Calendar and supporting other alphabets. Love to hear what else do you need us to develop in Drag :)
Nick Timms
Hey Dan, all characters and alphabet are now support. FYI - launched again on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/post... (please feedback if you have some time).
