So, last week we had a massive new release for DocsOrb with an amazing "new" feature add-on and a complete revamp of the app. The main goal: Stay private, ad-free, clutter-free unlike all the CamScanner or Mobile Scanner apps out there. There's really NO reason why they should store all your private data on their servers.

So, with that - this new update is even more private, even more secure and even more you.

What's new?

• Scan & edit : in-built light-weight camera scanner that helps reduce from 250+mb to 49mb!

• Privacy-first : Your documents stay only on your device - still the same but with added encryption!

• AI folders : Describe your moment and let AI create the folders for you, so you have a boilerplate to start from instead of blank folder.

• Key Information Glance : This is the new feature, you can add Key Information for every document to quickly view it with long-tap, copy for faster access and - here's the magical part - if you want, you can use the "AI Extract" to extract all the important information.

What's WIP?

• Bulk magic : Drop a batch of images and let DocsOrb auto-organize them into documents, folders and extract Key Information!

  • There is a working prototype for this, but we want to stabilize and add more control on what data goes to AI, so the user gets to 'remove' any data they don't want the AI to know - #privacyfirstalways

• Export & PDF tools : Right now, documents from DocsOrb can be exported as Images but we're working on a light-weight PDF generator, editor, and many more!
