Dockhunt — Discover the apps everyone is docking about

Hey Product Hunt 😸 As a maker, I’ve always been fascinated by the apps people can’t live without. While it’s rare for me to discover something that I end up using everyday, it’s magical when I do. I remember installing Cron for the first time 2 years ago—now it sits permanently on my dock. One of my favorite places to find the most essential products is, well, from other makers. Clearly I’m not alone. When I meet other builders, the first question they ask is often some version of: “what’s in your dock?” The team at Basedash and I thought it’d be fun to ship a project that lets you answer that question. It’s called Dockhunt and we’re excited to hear what you think! Then you've come to the right place. We've built a little tool that you can run on your Mac, which scans your dock then invites you to share it with the world. Come on over to https://dockhunt.com. Neat idea and weirdly similar to “Fancy MacBook Apps”! https://www.producthunt.com/post... The two products need to have a baby. Seeing a dock then clicking on the app to get the brew install line

It's a great and fun way to share your dock but I just feel like it's too much effort to just wanting to share your dock cause you need to download the app or run the code. I wish it could be done in the website itself!
